Miss Lily Whiskers

Location: Cardiff, Wales, UK

Lily

Lily was found in a rubbish skip when she was 3 weeks old. Someone had thrown her away after brutally torturing her. She needed 24/7 vet care. However, she was a real survivor and now that she has recovered and grown up a bit she felt that you needed to see her beautiful six month old baby pictures.

Amen to that, Rubia. I have to try to think positive thoughts about the person who rescued her, or I’m just going to cry about the evil person who tortured such a cutie.

The sad fact is that people who torture animals often have been helpless victims themselves of people they should have been able to trust. Almost inevitably they take out their rage and pain on those who they can hurt, the small animals of the world - who can’t tell on them. I’ve seen it again and again. God bless us all.

I have to believe there is a special hell for people who torture animals. I have a friend who is fostering a chihuahua mix who was continually physically abused by the adult male in the house. Poor thing will not go near a man and was close to being put down because of biting. My friend decided to foster and hopes to find a good home for him.
Miss Lily you’re a beautiful girl and so glad you found a home of love and support. If only so many others were lucky enough to find a good home.

Slightly sad, but lovely little face, and glad she can enjoy a good home after the abuse. I’ve been a lifelong atheist, but if I’m wrong and there is a life after death, I’d happily spend a large part of it personally doing to all animal abusers exactly what they did to the helpless animals who crossed their paths. Day after day after …… Bless those who rescue some of these little ones and show them that not all humans are monsters.

when Ihear of things like this it just makes me wish we would have kept some of the ways of justice that is in the old testament ;ie:
such as an eye for an eye, punishment was swift and just and a person would definately have lost their eye for putting out this sweet baby’s eye I’m sure. After all when god put man on this earth he charged Adam and his decendents to protect and care for his other creations before and after the garden of eden.We are Adams decendents; all of us are accountable to carry out that charge and to
meet out a punishment that fit the crime.
