Fizz
Location: Montrose, California, USA

Fizz was born to a stray cat who we’ve been feeding in our backyard. He and his brother Grape Star (both named by our 4 year old daughter) were recently adopted by a nice family. We weren’t able to keep them as I am severely allergic, but got close enough to snap this cute pic.

Hi 2bpurring…long time no see!
Hi I’ve been slow lately. How you doing?
Yeah….First pounce…Fizz is just adorable, and so glad you found both kitties good furever homes.
He’s a heart-breaker and one day he’ll be a BIG boy.
What a sweet face. He looks so thoughtful, I wonder what he is thinking.
Look at the widdle, pathetic-look on his face!
I want him!
Beautiful photo of a lovely kitten! Im glad he got a good home.
Sloe Gin Fizz!!! How cute is this fuzzie wuzzie. HUMONGEOUS feet!!He is going to be on gorgeous cat!
Come here Fizz, and I’ll give you some hugs and squeezes, you cutie pie!
The look on Fizz’ face tells me this picture was taken before he knew he would have a furever home! I’m glad you were able to enjoy them at least from a distance. And bless you for feeding their mom.
Fizz and Grape Star — lol.
Oh, goodness, you guys are right — he does have big feet. He’ll be a big, handsome boy when he is grown.
What a cutie..great that you feed them until they got a home!!
He looks so sad. I’m glad he and his brother found a home.
Fuzzy Fizz FUZZ
He is just adorable !!
thats a tongue twister
Such a sad look on his sweet face… but now that he’s safe I’ll bet he’s smiling!
FIZZIES FUZZ
What a little doll. I love kittens when they’re all spiky fur and purr.
What a face! Good of you to find them homes.
Fizz, you are so handsome! And that is a very unique name. Maybe not quite as unique as Grape Star, but a good, strong name none the less. So happy that you both have loving homes now!
Ohh, what a pretty kitty! Fizz is just so handsome. Look at those paws - he’s going to be a big boy! Sorry you couldn’t keep him but glad you found a good home for him and his brother. At least you have this great picture; this is worth framing!
Please trap that stray cat and get her spayed! You can call a local animal rescue organization to find out who does low-cost spay/neuter in your city, and, if she’s feral, who will deal with ferals. It’s nice of you to find homes for her kittens, but it’s no fun for her to keep having litter after litter. Thanks!
I agree–see my comment below.
Beautiful Fizz. Thank you for finding homes for 2 furrbabies.
Fizz is a cutie for sure, and yes he will be a big kitty by the size of those beautiful feet. Thank you for finding them a good home.
What a cutie little fizz is! I want to pick him up and give him a big smoochie and tickle his tummy to make him smile! I am so glad you have helped him and Grape Star out! Bless you! ^..^
Nicely taken picture of a beautiful kitten.
I like the names, they are original.
Oh, this little fuzzy baby is just simply adorable! Love the picture, too…the way the light is outlining his fur. And those lil paws…(sigh!).
Fizz is a real beauty…In fact,he looks identical to one of the feral newbies in our backyard. We call him Mr. Friendly because that’s what he is. Glad he found a forever home.
BTW…I’m very experienced in trapping ferals,& sometimes they are just too smart to trap. Our feral Siameezer is proof of that. She’s had 3 litters & I’m sorry to say she has a 4th in the oven.
What a wonderful picture! Good for you for getting him and Grape Star a home.
Hi, KittenMaster!
Hi, Alex!
Sorry you’re allergic to cats. But, I’m VERY glad Fizz and Grape Star got a forever home. As the caregiver for some formerly stray cats, it’s nice to hear other people care too.
Glad to here that Fizz and Grape Star were adopted. Fizz is very cute.
Hi from your friends to the north
So good that you found homes for those kittens. Please try to trap and spay the mom so that no kittens go without a loving home! Thanks!
I’ve done a lot of trapping, too, and while it can be tricky, I’ve always had success in the end. We had a female that kept getting pregnant. Someone caught her and then let her go before spaying her, which makes it almost impossible to get her to go into a trap again. However, I tried off and on for a few more months, and she finally went into the trap again. (Males, by the way, are usually much easier to trap and will go into a trap over and over, even after they’ve been caught.)
When we took her to get spayed she was pregnant again, and this was JUST after we had found homes for her last batch of kittens. Having batches of kittens one on top of the other is no way to live, even for feral cats. PLEASE, if you can, try to help these wild cats out, especially the females. Thanks.
Cute kitten, Fizz.
To prevent unwanted litters that contribute to the over population of cats, please borrow a humane trap from your local animal shelter or a vet, trap the mama cat and take her in to be spayed. There may be low-cost neuter/spay clinics or coupons in your area. Check with your local shelter.
Cats are going into heat already in my area (southern Oregon) even though we’ve had a cold winter and more snow than usual. So it’s really important to spay NOW before your feral mama cat goes into heat again. Thanks!
Truly a wonderful picture..Fizz is adorable and I’m so happy to hear that he and his brother, Grape Star are living in happy homes. Thanks for sharing this cutie!!
I just love him!!!!!
Hope you have a wonderful life little Fizz!
Hugsssssssssss!!
Ramos cat fizz! What a cutie. Looks a little like my Mia.
A dream, beautiful male kitten, Thanks for the fix and glad you found him a home… I live to far away to even try and an get him… and enough kittens in MS for all… LOL, God Bless All and have a great day “T”
Looks like a picture post card with back-lighting etc. I love the colors and sweet face.
Hey all you early pouncers…What time is this posted in Virginia time?? Where is the original posting done? I’m always amazed and amused at the quick pouncers.
Beautiful picture, love the sunlight effect on Fizz’s fur.
Hi, CPM- The new kitty usually appears at 10:07 am, but ya gotta be fast to be first or just plain lucky!
Hi, CPM- The new kitty usually appears at 10:07 am on the East Coast, but ya gotta be fast to be first or just plain lucky!
Thank you DCH & Caroline: Sweet of you to answer. I just wondered When & Where. I don’t think I’m that fast. I’ll just sit back and enjoy the contest. I may even post a prize for the speedy ones. Ha Ha!
The kittens are posted at 3:07 GMT (United Kingdom)
Fizz, like all kittens, has an uncanny knack for posing in the cutest/prettiest way possible. Nice backlighting there, Fizz, makes your fur look extra shiny and fluffy!
My condolences on the allergies, they are torpedoing my attempts to kittenfy my home. I can’t even gently work on my fiancee…..”aww, look at that kitten…soo cute…could use a home…hey, if we got a bigger place…..?”
how kind of you to keep feeding the poor stray even though you are alergic. Her kittens, on the evidence of the photo, seem to be healthy and I am sure thar tthis is a result of your feeding. Well done
aww i’m so happy Fizz and brother went to a home. he is so handsome and sweet looking
I have a feeling that the 4 year old has been exposed to the Warriors series. If you like cats, you would love these books. You will find them in the children’s section. They are a very popular children’s series.
The name, Grape star, is what I am referring to.
He is so cute! He sort of looks like my cat.
Beauty in the sunlight…
