Cookie and Fuzzy
Location: Palo Alto, California, USA

This is Cookie and Fuzzy when they were still tiny, with little round ears and little tiny tails sticking straight up, just beginning to be able to walk around a bit but mostly napping all the time. Now they are eight months old, running up and down trees, but still just as sweet as the day they were born. I love them!

OMG!! Hey, what about a “Then…& Now”? Before & after photos for these daily streams of fuzzwumps??
I will send in a picture of them when they are a little older — who knows, maybe the Daily Kitten will chose it if I include the siblings so there are new kittens to the site as well. Needless to say, the whole litter is darling!

Fuzzy died last week. Cookie really misses him, and so do we.
Brita, I’m so sorry about Fuzzy. Poor Cookie needs extra attention now. This is a beautiful picture of them, though.
Too adorable. Oh….what happened to Fuzzy? Sorry for your loss britta. RIP Fuzzy.
Fuzzy was hit by a car and died right away. Waaaaa . . . . . . After we brought him home, Cookie kept patting him to try to make him get up and play. Then finally he just lay down on top of him. He’s starting to feel a little better. It happened on Thursday.
Britta, that is so sad. So sorry for your loss. What beautiful babies!!!!
That make me want to cry. I’m so sorry.
Nooooooo! Not lil Fuzzy! Sooooo sorry! Made me cry, too.
:(’
Oh my! They are so tiny! How adorable! I love those ears!
How cute these two little fuzzbutts are!!! I need to get current pictures of my babies on this site!!!
Britta…I just read your post about Fuzzy..I’m so sorry…I’m relieved that he didn’t suffer and my heart goes out to you and Cookie..My gravest fears are for my 4 who are indoor/outdoor cats, yet we’re in an area where large noisy logging trucks passby all day and they seem to have developed a healthy fear of that street in particular. I now only worry really about the quieter one that runs the front of our place. God Bless and may Fuzzy romp the Rainbow fields joyfully.
Dear Britta,
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. Poor Cookie must be so sad and lonely. My babies are never allowed outside. It’s hard enough to lose them to disease or old age. I couldn’t stand losing them to an accident that could have been prevented by keeping them indoors.
OMG, I love them too! What an awesome pair of cutie-pie moo-kitties!!!
They’re precious. I’m sad to hear about sweet Fuzzy.
Perhaps when the time is right another baby could be adopted to keep Cookie company.
We have Cookie’s mother and two other siblings, so he has companions — just not his special buddy. Actually, Cookie is crazy about me and I am crazy about him, so we’ll be okay after a little while. But it has been really special to see the photo and comments on the Daily Kitten. Thanks to everyone for the heartfelt comments. I am only letting the kitties out between about 10 and 3, when there is minimal traffic, and we live in a quiet neighborhood. They are really enjoying their animal life when they are outside — everything smells interesting even if they’ve smelled it 100 times before — so I want them to have a little outdoors time. They don’t realize yet that the outdoors is a giant bathroom, so they come in as soon as they need to use the litterbox!
Britta
My first cat, Chappel, was indoor/outdoor, and he used to come inside to use the litter box, too. It wasn’t until he saw some other cats eliminating outside that he started to do the same.
Poor sweet Fuzzy! Give extra cuddles to Cookie!
My heartfelt condolences over the loss of one of your sweet babies. May your other kitties slowly but surely fill up that hole that is created when one of your clan is missing
, Give Cookie an extra squeeze or two!
Awwww! What little sweethearts. Cute!!
Oh how sad! They made such a cute pair!
These two are so precious! I’m so sad that Fuzzy isn’t there to cuddle up to his best pal anymore, but I’m sure he’s having a great time at the bridge. Beautiful photo!
I’m so sorry to hear about Fuzzy! I’m sure you all miss him terribly. They were both cuties in this picture.
This is a wonderful way to remember him by, though.
My heart goes out to you for Fuzzy. We all know loss and how it hurts. Cling to your other babies and they will help you to heal. God Bless You.
AWWWWW what small little sweeties
i bet they are much bigger and faster now! so cute.
awww they are so adorable… sorry that you lost Fuzzy though, that’s so sad… I agree with whoever said it’s hard enough losing them to illness or old age, but in an accident…

I used to have a kitty named Fuzzy, too, she had Feline Leukemia and got pneumonia due to her low immunities and I had to put her down. Maybe your Fuzzy is with MY Fuzzy, lol
Sorry about your Fuzzy. I imagine all my kitties from the past becoming friends in heaven, even though I’m not sure I really believe in heaven, at least for people! But I like the idea of them getting to know each other, and other wonderful cat friends they didn’t get to meet before! So maybe our Fuzzys are hanging out together — you never know!
