I took this picture of little Simon just after driving him all the way from the no-kill shelter in CT where I volunteer to my parents’ home in PA. He cried when we put him in the car, but as soon as my mom wrapped him up in her coat and cradled him, he went right to sleep. He’s now almost 5 months old, and quite the mischief maker, but it’s impossible to be angry at him because he’s just such a sweetheart!

He is purrfect! Years ago I had a cat named Itsy that we got from a rescue. He was a wonderful cat!

If I didn’t know better I would say that is a photo of my Bob, another rescue. A very sweet angel boy. If anything like my Bob, Simon will love to cuddle and purr, and come running when you bring out the furminator or comb.

Your Simon looks just like my Gracie that someone dumped out close to my house. She is such a joy to have, and into everything. She will play with any paper or whatever is on the floor. They are so wonderful to have in our lives.
