Fuzzy, Scooter, Gloria, and Cookie

Cookie and Fuzzy are posted on the Daily Kitten as tiny babies on February 13. Someone asked to see them a little older — here they are with their brother and sister. Fuzzy died between when I sent in the baby pic and when it showed up here, and Cookie was very sad. But as you can see, he still has Scooter and Gloria. We kept the whole litter, they were so cute and happy together! Keeping them all is one of the best things we ever did

Fuzzy is the handsome kitty on the left. (If you click the link to 2/13 you can see him and Cookie as babies.) Then going from left to right they are Scooter, Gloria, and Cookie in the back. Fuzzy was hit by a car and died. Cookie and he were the sort of daring duo, out for adventure. Now Cookie and Scooter are hanging out together, and Gloria pals around with her mom Baobao. My daughter and I brought Baobao back from China when she was a couple months old. She is a typical Beijing cat, rescued from a very bad life on the street, and she looks just like her kittens except with more white, and with loooong silky fur. We don’t know who the father is, since they all look like their mother, except he must be short-haired. (In case you are wondering, they are all spayed/neutered now. We have enough cats, except we wish we still had Fuzzy!)

Four purrfect babies! I’m glad you decided keep the whole litter.
All my life I have always adopted cats one at a time, even if we may have had a few at once. But now that we kept this whole litter, I think that is a really great way to do it if you are able — or to adopt a couple litter mates together. They seem super happy and well-adjusted. We thought they might not be so interested in their people family if they had the other kittens, but they are really crazy about us as well as about each other. It’s like they have extra love to go around because they are so happy! Britta
I also adopted a 4 kitten litter, in 2001, to help me with the passing of my mother, and it was the best thing ever. It was such a joy to observe them as babies (I would drive home over my lunch hour just to hang out with them) and they have grown into such beautiful cats, with the best tempers. They get along extremely well together, even if they are a bit clannish towards others, but I would not trade them for the world. I am now convinced that I will adopt litters when the time comes, like when I move into a bigger house and can finally relax into my whole crazy cat lady-dom.

in the past i have litter mates several times .you dont need tv they can keep you amused all night just running around playing with each other. what a bunch of fuzzy cutrness

Wow-they look like they could have been cloned! They all have the same patterns on their backs and the faces are very similar. They are beautiful!
