Drake was adopted from the local animal shelter and has become a much loved member of the family. He loves playing ‘fetch’ with his toy mouse - even if this means dropping it onto you in the middle of the night to make sure you’re awake!

I guess I never realized how many cats “fetch”…
My KC used to have a plastic mesh-type ball with a bell inside that she’d pick up in her mouth and then bring it right to you! I don’t know how many of those little toys got squished because all of a sudden they were right there under your feet!
Look at the size of those paws! When he grows into them, he’s going to be enormous! (Love enormous kitties.)
Cats that play fetch - I have a very special one, who likes to drop her mousie in the water bowl and fish it out again before she returns it for another throw.
Drake looks very content in his new home. Great name, too.
Betcha can’t wait to fire that little turd in a bag, hand it to your nephew, and watch him run outside swinging it over his head until he bangs it into a tree or something. brings back memories…
Our cats have done that a couple of times — that is, drop a mouse on my husband’s chest during the middle of the night. A live mouse, in both cases. It’s very hard to get back to sleep after something like that happens.
