Riley

Meet Riley, the sweet-heart I found in a dumpster behind a sporting goods store, just hours after being rescued. She weighed just one pound, was full of fleas and worms, and was very hungry! Now Riley is a year and a half old and an absolute joy to have around. She is proof that one person’s trash can is another one’s treasure!

Riley, with ears like that you should be able to fly, ala Dumbo! How adorable you are! Indeed, there are treasures to be found in trash.

Would love to see the after pic of little Riley! Poor little thing, a tabby treasure, but definitely the worse for wear, there. Rescuing kittens is good karma.

So glad this poor kitty was found. I never understand people who could put such a beautiful creature in a dumpster. I would like to have those people put in a dumpster with no food water and feel the same terror this poor little one felt. It just breaks my heart. Glad she was found in time. Hugs and scritchies to this poor baby.

Amen. Though, anyone with that capability is living in a dumpster without food or water. No spirit; no hope etc. As my late grandma would say “Hell’s a waitin’ on ‘em”!!!

The act of kindness brings us all closer to god; that’s another reason I love this little kitty site!

I’m in Looooove! This cutie brings back memories of my first 2 babies 20 years ago; Cori and Jenny were 8 week old kittens that we found thrown out in a paper bag by the side of the road. We were blessed with them for 18 and 16 years respectively, and I always said what you just wrote:” someone’s trash was our most precious treasure”
Riley is gorgeous….PLEASE Kittenmaster may we see her now all grown into her pretty ears?

Looks like a cross between Barack Obama and a bat. :)
So heartening when one of the little Tossed lucks out!!! Riley surely has.
seems so much easier to spay and neuter a few of the little suckers than to be tossing untold hords of them…but then that’s the long view.

The ears! The tongue!!!! So cute I can’t stand it!! I love these little fox-kittens…I have a pic of one of my babies where the ears are so big, he looks like the next words spoken ought to be “cleared for takeoff on runway 5″…Riley is such a cutie and is SO lucky to have a caring human.

She is going to grow into those ears and paws in another two years or so. She is going to be a BIG cat. Very pretty color pattern. I wish that there were more people in this world with kind hearts like yours.
