    Tusacn

My husband and I took our one year-old cat to our vet and during this visit the vet determined she was suffering from separation anxiety while we were at work during the day. He suggested that we either put her on medicine to calm her down or try adopting a kitten to keep her company. As I was paying my bill, I noticed him. He was so tiny, only about five weeks old and his fur was so scruffy and dirty. I was informed that he was just rescued a few hours ago from the streets of the city with no mother or siblings to be found. He was still sucking with his tongue as he attempted to eat dry food. After spending about an hour playing with him we decided to take him home. We named him Tuscan because we felt he had such “Tough Skin” to be able to survive such an ordeal. He is almost two years old now and is the most vocal cat I’ve ever met. He torments our older cat on a daily basis and he has a special talent of playing fetch. If you throw his toy across the room he will get it and bring it right back to you so that you keep playing with him. His personality entertains everyone he meets.

Thanks, 2b! I’m sitting here laughing at myself for being so happy! It takes so little to amuse me apparently. And I love orange kitties.

I love the way cats curl their tails around their feet. In fact I would love to have a tail too; wouldn’t it be fun to have one to swish around. And it would let people know when to get out of your way, when you were feeling pretty good…..ok, ok, I snapped out of it! But then, you could put bows on it to match your outfit…..Slap! Whew, I needed that!

LOL! I love the idea! I want a tail too, I am sure it would be easier to express my feelings and ideas with it.

Oh you could slips your rings on your tail to match your outfits. If you find out where we could be fitted with one let me know it sounds right up my alley.

Tuscan is so beautiful and he was definetly at the right place at the right time.

what a little ginger sweetie! I didn’t know ginger kitties were talkers, I always thought it was siamese who were vocal. Say hello to Tuscan and give him a big hug from me.

What a total cutie this little fella is! When Shaddo sits down in “the meatloaf position” - paws and feet tucked under, his tail curls perfectly around him and about 3 inches stick straight up.
Oh, congrats, DancingCatHill on your pounce. You gotta be quick to keep up with this bunch, and you dusted everyone today! Have a great day!
