Spunky here, is sibling to Joe from the 25th of Feb. He was the runt of the litter, but became the first to eat solids, drink out of a bowl like his mum and of course the first to leave us a little present before we prepared a litter box. Now he is also the heaviest of 3 siblings. As curious as he is, he is also the noisiest. Pick him up and within five seconds, he will be protesting… still darn cute though.

Stupid work gets in the way of my kitten watching, panda-cam watching, all the other fun stuff!
We had a dose of feline curiosity drama yesterday at our house. My curious, trouble-making orange kitty sneaked into the hall closet yesterday when my husband and I left for work and was trapped for some 5 plus hours until Dad returned home to meet a plumber. Poor, curious guy! Judging by the claw marks in the coats that were strewn on the floor, he must have been fighting to find a way out.
Today he’s still extra clingy and very wary of the closet door opening, even when he’s kicked a foil ball under the door.
Ohhhh!!! poor Kitty!! One of our kitties got stuck in the closet under the stairs once for an hour or so. Luckily the other one started yowling to alert us something was going on and we were able to rescue her. Curiosity sometimes gets the best of all kitties!

Runts are runts only in size….definitely not RUNT in attitude or capability to LOVE. My sweet Tansey was the runt of her litter, the only muted tortie in a sea of orange girls and boys. She’s still small and lithe (under 8 pounds) but BOY does she have personality to spare! Looks like little Spunky has lots of personality too. What a cutie!
