T.C.
Location: Beaufort, South Carolina, USA

My husband found T.C. being dragged across our front yard by his mother. She was taking him away from his siblings because he was the “runt” and was sick. His paw pads and gums were white and he could do nothing but breathe and poo. My husband brought him in and sat him on the floor, he looked at our dog, took a swat at her and fell over. My husband named him T.C. for “Tough Cat” He only weighed 14 ounces and the vet wouldn’t even draw blood for tests because he said the baby needed every drop he had. He is now a huge orange Tom. T.C. stands for lots of things now - Tom Cat, Too Cute, and my favorite, “Totally Corrupt”

wow I MADE IT FIRST
I THINK HE IS A TOP CAT BEAUTIFUL BABY
What a sweet little baby! I love the white belly and paws.
What a darling! Thanks so much for saving him.
what a handsome cat you are t.c. i love your white belly and your deep red coloring. you are a very lucky kitty to find a furever home with such a loving family. all my best wishes to you for a happy, healthy, fun filled future with your furever family. bobby - n.y.c.
he sure is a cute one. that belly needs to be rubbed!
Totally Cool kitty, just laid out (smile for the camera, TC).
I vote for Totally Cute.
Awwwww, I’m so glad you were able to save this little cutie.
Hiya TC!!! (or am I just showing my age?) Well done for rearing this gorgeous little kitten, glad to hear he’s thriving now!
Awwww! I had an orangey like this one that my brother rescued from the sewer. We named him O’Riley but called him “Little Kitty” because he was so small…had to explain that the nickname was not originally intended as a joke when he got to his full weight of 26 pounds as an adult! He lived 18 happy years with us. Mat TC be blessed with long life and lots of scritches on his belly.
oops…make that MAY not Mat!
TS Eliot had a cat named Rum Tum Tugger… Sounds like you have another sweetie like that RTT! Blessings for taking care of TC!
I guess mother cats go on instinct - if she had to care for TC, he might not have survived. That’s where us people come in! TC is way, way too cute. Maybe he should be renamed WayTC?
awwwwwww TC certainly is too cute! i’m so glad you found him and took him in and nursed him back to health
TC is a longhaired Sammy! He is just so precious. I am soooo glad you rescued him and let him into your family. Wish we could see him now!
What a precious angel kitty! I need to snorgle his belly. Thank you for taking care of this adorable fluff.
What a heart warming story of T.C.’s saving grace. How very wonderful for that day you spotted him and saved his precious little life. God Bless you for that. The world needs many more of you in it! He’s definitely a Tough Cat and I’m happy he’s healthy enough to also be Totally Corrupt! Hahaha! What a cutiepie…You did good!
Totally Corrupt - love that! Our Willow was the runt of the litter and abandoned by mom. She is Totally Spoiled! TC looks totally snuggable!
When can i take him home?
Adorable! I used my mouse pointer to give him a virtual tummy rub!
Me too! (looks around guiltly, hoping no one saw!)
That hind paw up in the air just slays me! I want to pinch it! Gently of course!
Oh we saw you, and did the same! Fun!
Obviously one tough kitty if he saved up his energy to set the dog straight before he collapsed. Lucky cat, lucky you.
Too cute indeed! That pose is adorable!
*gives TC a virtual squeeze*
Does TC also stand for “Totally Content”? That little face is one happy kitten! I love sleeping kitten smiles….glad to hear he’s fat and happy now. Bless you for rescuing him.
Awwwww Snorgles!!
I just LOVE belly rubs!!
Can’t stand to see a kitten asleep….. Just want to play with them and hugs and kisses to them… so they will sleep at night and not bite the toes that feed them… Bless All!!
Thank you for saving his life–she must have had too many kittens to feed them all. He will love YOU as his Mommy!
Wow! Totally Cute was a great save…he was just meant to be your baby; if Mama cat had used all her energy to save this little guy , she may have lost the whole litter. TC’s angel to the rescue…that would be you! THANK YOU! Long happy life TC.
I love the sweet smile that this little kitty has on it’s face. God bless you for rescuing this little sweetie. May you have many many wonderful years with your Tough Cat. Hugs and purrs.
T.C. is just one very special orangie, demonstrated by his ’swatting’ at the dog!!! I would have had to taken him myself if I had seen that
Totally cute indeed. What a tough little guy.
What a sweetheart. He looks like he knows he has it good.
One tummy snorgle coming up, Mmmmmmffftttrrrrrrr. Oh that was fun, you are Totally Cute TC.
How amazing! When I was a child, I had a cat named T.C. who was a ginger tabby with white chest, paws and belly. I’ve never run across another cat named T.C., so when I saw your angel who even looked like my old cat, I had to say Hi. Give T.C. a scritch for me please :).
Kat
I love this story! Thanks for sharing it, and thank you for saving T.C.!
THU-PLOOF!
So sweet, look at his cute white furry belly…
T.C. has a dreamer’s smile and is in cat heaven after being saved from the elements. Kudos to T.C.’s family for being so good to him. Enjoy the years.

I can just hear the MomCat as she dragged TC:
“It’s gonna feel like I hate you, but these people are going to build a shrine to you, kiddo. Look sick, swat at the dog, and they are gonna be your slaves for life!”
What a great story and I am so glad your husband was in the right place at the right time, I bet T.C. is too by the expression on that darling little face! Enjoy him and give him a cuddle for me, please?!
I know I am going to indirectly show my age but, I remember a TC on the show “Magnum, P.I.”! Does anyone else remember him? He was a pretty “Tough Cat” too as I recall!
Totally cute kitten
Aww…..poor baby. He is gorgeous…….I want to TC with him…TOTALLY CUDDLE!!!
-One cat lover to another
A pretty CAT.
my sisters said that if the world was invaded by animals and we were turned into animals they said that i would be an orange tabby!
Just “shows to go ya” that everyone needs a little help every now and then. Thank goodness you were there to be TC’s guardian angel.
Now that’s a yellow cutie
I can’t believe the chance you took on such a sick kitty…. what wonderful people you are!
