Pumpkin
Location: Oxnard, California, USA

Pumpkin is my second rescue from our local feral mama cat whom we have since trapped and spayed. This is a rare moment of quiet for this little bundle of energy. We call her “The Litter Box Police” because after one of her sisters uses the box she’ll inspect to see if their “gifts” have been adequately covered. If not, she’ll tidy up.

pounce??
Oh, precious Pumpkin, you are MINE today!!!! What a sweet kitty! Here she goes to the next TDK’r . Happy day all!
Oh, how cute! Pounce?
Oops, second in line. How about we share, DCH?
Indeed, she is on her way thru the Kittenworm hole now….
love little pumpkin! such a sweetie
POUNCE!
Awww, Pumpkin is sooo adorable! If she wasn’t across the country, I’d ask for a playdate and maybe Pumpkin would show Shaddo how to tidy up after himself - between the litterbox and his dining area, he’s a total slob! Then again, at 17, he will never change. When Jiggs was around, I would say, “who is the Messy Marvin around here?” Now, without Jiggs, I say, “I always knew it was you, Shaddo!”
POUNCE
That’s a very cute picture… :-))
Sweet Punkin PIE, won’t you come and snooze on my lap for a little while? What a doll! Look at the orange on her forehead!
What a sweet little baby! I love the little patches of orange!
Litter Box FUZZ!
Sweet little Pumpkin!!!!
AWW…That is one of the cutest descriptions I have read so far! She’s really cute and I love that she “inspects” what her litter mates have so gingerly left behind..
I want her… can I have her?
It’s adorable the way she’s holding that “pillow” and resting her head on it. She looks like my Penny.
Indescribable sweetness!! Such a cute pic. And look at the size of those paws!
What an angelic baby she is! She looks like my precious little Tink, who at 9 yo went to live and play at Rainbow Bridge in 2004. She was one of my dearest kitties, and I raised her from birth. I would just like to cuddle this little cutie-pie, fuzzy-wuzzy baby for just a wee-bit. I promise to give her right back…
OK-just for a little while.
What beautiful coloring Pumpkin has! She looks totally blissful with her little pillow.
Awww! Pumpkin is so sweet. Come here, lil’ doll - I want to hug you!
Such a darling kitty.
Pumpkin has to make sure the job of covering the “business” is done correctly. My Orange Girl, Amber Marie, has taken on the same responsibility. All of our kitties went to the “Amber Marie School of Litter Box Training.”
ohhhhhh.Pumpkin….THUD!
Quick! Ship her to my house. I have two male cats that need to be taught the CORRECT way to use the litter box.
Pumpkin is too cute. I want to just give her some head “scrubs”. Maybe she could come teach my cat Oreo that NOT using the box is completely a no-no. Hmmm…..
Love her pink nose!!
What a cute cat! And THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for getting her feral mother spayed. I know it can be a difficult task, but it is so worth it when you realize the benefit to her, and to the wild cat population problem. Having litter after litter of kittens is no way to live - life on the streets is hard enough as it is. Give Punkin a kiss for me - she looks like my Annabelle who passed on at age 19 last fall.
Pumpkin is Precious!! How wonderful of you to save two kitties! Best of luck to you all and congrats on being chosen The Daily Kitten!
ha ha toooo funny…litter patrol! LOL! Pumpkin sure is a little cutie. what a darling angel. and wonderful that you rescued her and sibling and got her mama fixed too
Jack o lantern FUZZ
Sanitation Engineer FUZZ
Lights out FUZZ
What an adorable girl you are, Pumpkin! Love what you’ve done with your hair color!!! And a clean freak, to boot? Now, how could you possibly top that combination?
awwww….wook at this wittle cutie pie! HUGS
Cute overload! Dailykitten is the bright spot of my work morning, and this pic is extra bright. My Emma ‘polices’ any food she finds lacking by trying to bury it. And she’s good about covering deposits in the litter box, except occasionally when she seems to think that scraping litter in the other box is going to cover what she’s left in the first one. Not too bright sometimes, but adorable nonetheless.
What a cute little Pumpkin! I wan’t Pumpkin! Love her already…
What a sweetheart I love the way she is cuddling the pillow. My Taffy was the litter police and Domino the lazy bum would let him cover it up. The two would go to the litter box Taffy would wait till Domino did his business and then he would hop in and cover it up and then hop back out.
Can she come visit my house and do some litter detail? I have found the princesses (Sheba) who were raised only indoors couldn’t care less if it’s covered. My two feral rescues cover it to a fault–Patches gets litter all over the floor, she digs so much.
OOOHHH!! How cute is that? I can almost feel the soft fur against my cheek. Hugs and more hugs to you little Pumpkin.
pumpkin is like the color of a pumpkin is that a scrunchi
Beautiful baby!! Lil
What a sweetie! She is just adorable!
I have a couple of “sanitation engineers” too. I have some that work really hard at covering up nothing - missing the deposit totally.
Hope you have many happy years together….
Aw! Such a cute picture! I can go to bed with a smile on my face now
Pumpkin, you should come meet Bailey since you both are litter police I’m sure you get along very well. He is a lot bigger than you are now though. Sure hope your family takes real good care of you, you look as sweet as they come. Please give Pumpkin a treat from us!
Pumpkin looks very happy. Thanks for adopting her. I notice her picture was taken 4 months ago. I bet she only got cuter since then.
She’s a beauty… She resembles my Eponine who went to the Rainbow Bridge last December..
How sweet that she tidies up after her sisters!
Sweet little sleepy kitty. Purrrrrr
Just what I needed - an adorable sleeping kitty with little white paws! (Are there extra toes on those paws?) Pumpkin, you are so lucky to have found such wonderful people to take care of you and mama kitty.
Pumpkin is so sweet and a good little litter box inspector too!!
So cute, and tidy too!
xox to you Pumpkin!!
Oh, that looks just like my Atticus when he was a baby!
What a beautiful kitty she is.
So lovable and huggable! Blessings on you and Pumpkin always.
