Julius

I was sick with the flu a couple weeks ago and my six month old orange tabby, Julius, kept his eye on me from the window sill above the bed. He’s a very good “nurse” and managed to keep me entertained while I rested. Julius is a jolly kitten with the softest fur and fluffiest tail I’ve ever seen on a cat!

I would feel better if Julius would hang around if I was sick, too. He’s so cute, but his position makes me nervous! All I can think about is how you can see them weighing up in their minds exactly how soft the landing on your head would be….

Our Tiger will bat his toys under a sofa and then look underneath for them to see where they went. I guess this is what it looks like when you’re one of the toys.

Such attentive and worried eyes! But he knows, if you treat a flu, it will be gone in one week, if you don’t treat a flu, it will be gone in 7 days. THE best NURSE Julius rules!

What a sweetie pie Julius is. He looks as if he’s saying, “Just checking on you! Need anything?” I always love it when cats take on nursing role and comfort me whenever I’m sick or have one of my migraines. May you have many healthy, happy years of fun and love with this beautiful kitty.

Love those eyes and the pink nose!
Can’t figure out if the picture is tilted or what kind of weird angle it’s got.

Comment by lovinkat
2008-03-25 18:36:59

It is an odd angle! I took it lying on my back, shooting straight up at the bank of windows a few feet above the bed. The darkness below Julius is the wall and the stuff hanging about him are the window coverings!

2008-03-25 21:02:34

Thanks for posting about your sweetie! He is certainly handsome, and seems loving as most orangies are.

Reminds me of when I had a kidney stone a few years ago and our cat Hershey stayed in the bed with me all day. Of course she may have done that anyway, lol, as she sleeps 23 1/2 hours a day, but I like to think she was being supportive!

There is, or was, a fountain drink made with orange juice called Orange Julius. They used to sell it a lot in malls.

Aww…..Julius, RA. Cute!!!! Wish Mr Howdy would look in on me sometimes….instead I am always catering to baby’s needs. This morning I had to retrieve his mouse that he so gingerly pawed underneath several pieces of very large furniture. And cried until he got it back! :) Gotta love em’.

Hello Julius, you are a very pretty little kitten. Take good care of your human. You sure are good at entertaining…peek-a-boo! My cat Bailey started playing Peek-a-boo when he was a kitten and still has fun with it 4 years later. Wish I could stroke your soft & fluffy fur.
