Meet Mr. Oliver Twisp, born in Twisp Washington. Now happily relocated to Columbus Ohio. He’s four months old and very curious. He gets into anything and everything he can get his paws on. In this picture Oliver is trying to figure out a clever way to get to the ceiling fan, meowing, doing tricks, plotting and scheming… as he watches the fan go around and around!

ceiling fans and cats, I had to move my bed because mine would jump from the bed trying to get the fan. they would pull the chain and turn it off and on. I was so afraid they would get hurt. even made the chain as short as I could and still reach it. Oliver is a beautiful meezer.
Love his name and love his looks and love his ways - in short I love him.

The best thing about this picture is that the drawer knobs form a perfect dotted line coming from his mouth! Oliver needs a thought bubble, lol!
I remember when Spaz, a lil tux kitten I lived with, got up on one of the blades of the ceiling fan when it was deactivated….ulp!

What a sweet and clever little Siamese face. If he’s anything like my and my neighbor’s meezers he’ll be figuring out all kinds of mischief. Meezers seem to be part monkey! (Our two run up onto her roof together and have been known to try to get into her bedroom window.)
He is in his Mongoose pose! LOL My Kiwee does the same thing, with the big deep meow to go with the longing of attacking the fan. When it is not busy, I pick her up and let her play with the cord. It makes her happy.

What a wonderful baby. Reminds me of my Neko de Chi-Ninja when he was a but a kit. He is STILL into everything and loves climbing as high as he can. Be prepared . . . someday, Oliver will figure out how to get to the fan!! Probably when you leave a step ladder near it while you’re repainting the room! Where there is a will, a Siamese cat will find the way.
