Adison & Madison
Location: Cornwall, Pennsylvania, USA

Here are our little girls! They are sisters! A breeder had their mother, a Persian, and momma got together with a non-persian male and got pregnant. This breeder was going to put momma down with her babies. Momma was rescued and we adopted these two adorable sisters. They are best buds, and do everything together.

POUNCE!
Wonderful Wednesday, TDKers!
so kind of you to rescue such pretty grey kitties ! They are fabulous, thank you!!!
Doulbe Trouble!
OOPs. Finger Gremlins strike again! DOUBLE Trouble.
*checks spelling more carefully before hitting enter*
Pounce Pounce…awww so cute
Oooh, double the fluff today! Adison and Madison are absolutely adorable. So happy they were rescued.
Two beautiful dilute torties. A persian and a “regular” kitty, that should make these girls exotic shorthair kitties.
What kind of a breeder is this?? Thanks for saving them.
good question! sounds like a very hard-hearted one, to me
A bad one. Good breeders don’t allow their purebreds to accidentally get pregnant, and they certainly don’t threaten to put down the adult female because of their own error / blunder / carelessness.
Thank goodness the person in question stepped in! These are delightful kitties!
I agree—not a responsible breeder at all. Those that stop using a breeder cat will put them up for adoption–that’s how I got Sheba.
That’s disgusting. Put them down, just because they couldn’t fetch the huge price they would have if they’d been purebreds? I’m glad you saved them. In my opinion, cuteness is worth infinitely more than pure blood lines any day of the week — and these are CUTE!
How wonderful of you to save these beautiful little girls! Glad the momma was rescued, too! How pretty they are! You’ll have years of fun with the two of them.
Help, I’m melting, I’m melting… (turns into large molten mass of kitten love).
Double fluff! I’m so glad they were rescued!
SOOOOOOOO glad these lil girls were saved. Sometimes I cant believe the actions of others…..I wonder how people live with themselves. These girls are just delightful…would like for you to give them both BIG hugs from me!
Awww - more sisters! They are beautiful, and how wonderful that mama and babies were saved. We have sister kitties, so all I can say is - “Double Trouble” is right!
Double trouble, double fun, lucky you for having them, they are quite the beauties. Blessings to you for rescuing them
Precious faces! Who couldn’t love sweet little girls like this?
Beautiful babies! Thanks so much for saving them! The world needs beautiful kittens not just pure bred!
Awwww! They are so beautiful. Thanks for rescuing them + their Mom!
Three cheers to the kind people who rescued these babies and their mom! *is thinking unfluffy thoughts about the breeder, though*
Thank you so much for rescuing these precious babies! They deserve nothing less, as does their mother. Perhaps we should have laws that prevent the previous owner from ever owning any more animals… I am incensed that this owner was going to put down both mother and babies simply for a lack of pedigree!
Two precious rescue kitties. Bad breeder!
Two precious little fur babies! these two little girls are lucky to get such a caring human
may the fleas of a thousand camels infest the breeder who was going to have them put down! LOL
LOL, greycat! These two pretties are just so adorable!
Such lovely little ladies! I’m so glad they were rescued and their mama too!

Awwwwwww..beautiful little girls! Thank God they were saved! I don’t understand how anyone could even contimplate the possibility of ending these little lives! Thank you for being there for the little darlin’s! You Rock!!! Headbonks and Purrs to Maddie and Addie!!!!!
Shame on the breeder for even thinking about putting them down. What a jerk. I’m glad they came to live with you instead. And I’m glad mama is with someone else too. NASSSTY BREEDER.
I agree with everyone else… just cuz they wouldn’t get top dollar cuz they aren’t purebred… sheesh! This guy probably is “racist” when it comes to people as well…
PLUS to put the momma down for getting down with a non-persian… sheesh! Like she’s tainted or somethin’… damn, some people just really disgust me…. anything for the almighty dollar, I guess…
Well, I’m glad you rescued these babies, they are sure sweeeet! Glad something good came from this situation!
There but for the grace of God go us sweet lil FUZZ
Saved by the bell FUZZ
I am as angry as anyone else. Just goes to show, even the most feral, violent animal isn’t capable of the cold, calculating evil of humans.
Kinda makes the description “Snake in the Grass” a compliment by comparison.
Adorable girls. The breeder is an outrage.
What sweet little faces! They look so soft and fluffy. So glad that they found a wonderful home.
Pretty babies. I’m glad somebody rescued them and their mama.
GREAT SAVE.
beautiful babies, and I agree the breeder is not worthy of being a responsible cat lover.
God bless you for saving those sweet little girls. I am sure they will give you tons of happiness and lots of laughs. Many treats for them and lots of love.
Such a person who would put down a queen and her litter because of the breeders carelessness should not be allowed to be in “the business”. Thanks for saving these wonderful creatures.
Thank you everyone! Your comments are wonderful. These beautiful sisters are the loves of our lives. Our part was easy. Our thanks go to the wonderful woman that actually PAID this nasty breeder to give ‘momma’ to her. And what we found more disturbing (if anything can be MORE disturbing) was that this nasty breeder had a way to have momma ‘put down’. What kind of Vet does that?
Madison is the long haired one and she is very fond of looking the part, the part of Queen that is! And her sister, Addison is absolutely the softest cat I have ever had the pleasure to cuddle. The have an older brother, our 11 year old Tabby, StevieRay. He loves his little sisters and he’s very sweet with them. Even when they steal his toys or take his favorite chair. The girls are attached at the hip, but their personalities are very different. Madison is the ‘boss’. They have grown so much since this picture, they are beautiful little girls. Too bad there isn’t a The Daily Cat!
I want to join the rest of the kitten lovers out there who told you how wonderful you are to have adopted these two beauties. I can’t imagine the breeder putting a cat and her kittens down because she mated with the “wrong” cat. Makes me ill!!!
