This is Alvin…he and 10 other kittens were rescued from a mink farm in Illinois. Alvin is a MUNCHKIN and is about 6 1/2 weeks old here. I am fostering five other Munchkins, a Siamese and a little black female from this group. They are a riot!

Actually, there is an Alvin, Simon, Theodore…Sir Mick Jagger, Mason, and Loki! All have found their forever homes now. Mick and Mason are with me until July 4th. And so we can focus on the newest babies…a pair oc chocolate point Siamese brothers who think I am the devil!

Were the munchkins and the regular height kittens from the same litter?
Alvin is extremely handsome and very unusually coloured.
Yes, they were. Only it was three litters. One litter of 4 kittens had 3 Munchkins, and the regular female. There were 13 kittens total, 7 were Munchkins, and the rest were of regular height. And Alvin was the only one this color. And it is striking! And he is a doll!
