When I adopted her from a coworker told she was a boy - so everyone wondered why she sat like such a "lady" with her feet tucked under like in this pic. Turns out she was/is a female cat, supremely finicky and dainty, but ready to pretend she's 75lbs versus her actual 8lbs! My cat Ming has similar coloring - a white/tabby mix.
