We rescued this tiny, adorable tabby who found her way to my wife’s workplace. Her name was Smeagol for 3 days until we got her to the vet and found out she was a “her”. Sticking with the literary inspiration, we chose Chani from the book “Dune”.

awwwww well cute in fact adorable
But why is she eating from a dog bowl? You’ll have the worlds only barking kitten if you keep that up.
Maybe the dog’s eating from her cat bowl. She’s very cute, no matter what she’s eating.
Smegol, Eh? Thats a Lord Of The Rings charator
Anywho i love cats
What a cutie! She’s lucky to have you and your wife.
Just as well you called her Chani..she looks like an intellectual!!
awww shes cute
So glad you were able to take her in, she seems so tiny and thin…good thing she seems to hsve such good appetite
someones got an appitite.
For someone who is into literature, you should learn how to spell
“literay”.
Stupid people should have cats.
I can’t think of anything more pathetic than someone who seems to hate cats hanging out at a cat website to play Spelling & Grammar Nazi in their desperate need to feel superior to someone. Perhaps you shouldn’t introduce the term “stupid” to the discussion.
Didn’t you mean ’stupid people SHOULDN’T have cats?’. You wrote ’stupid people should have cats’. Sorry to correct you!!
She’s adorable. She looks like she can curl right up in her bowl.
She looks like my attack tabby, Bonnie, even down to the white mittens. Cute now, but mischief later?
Actually…a friend of mine has a cat who sounds like he barks or howls when he calls out! Adopted off the streets, we can only guess he’d made friends with some stray puppies…
This pic reminds me of Oscar when we got him at 4 days old (something happened to mom). He had to have kitten replacement formula and we had to keep petting him while he ate to keep him stimulated or he would fall asleep in the bowl while eating. Now he’s 7 and weighs 20 lbs and still wants to be petted while he eats. He’s my big baby…
that’s such an adorable story.
Nice name! I adopted a cat last year and named her “Irulan.”
Yes, she is a wonderful treasure. She is our 2nd cat. She has become inseperable from our older cat, Harry Potter. (My wife picked that name) She loves to be scratched and petted, but hates to be picked up. She will cry if held too long. (It’s a sad, pathetic sound that keeps me from picking her up). And yes, as she has gotten older, there has been some mischief.
AWWWW…..Chani is sooooo adorable. We are going to adopt soon, I hope we can find a kitten as cute as Chani!!
