Speckle
Speckle is seven weeks old and lives at the Benfleet Wildlife Sanctuary. She was left there crammed into a small box with two other kittens and a fully grown cat which was her mother. Her two sisters have both been adopted so she has been left on her own with her mother. I know all this information because I do volunteer work at the Wildlife Santuary and have got to know Speckle really well. She has a great personality and all she needs is a good home!
EEEEEEEEK!!!!!!! That kitten has broken my cute-o-meter! Look at how she sits there. I want to reach through my monitor and give her a pat on the head or scratch under her chin. She looks so regal!

How do I adopt?
you can adopt any animal at your local animal rescue league. I have adopted sooooooooooo many pets there and they are the sweetest animals you’ll ever meet(unless you have youur own.

Speckle looks like a tortoise color with blue eyes. Very pretty kitty. I can’t imagine why she hasn’t been adopted yet. I hope that some nice person will bring her home soon, and maybe her mother, too.

I had one 1 named Amber I rescued off the streets of Miami, but gave her to a family (we had 3 already). She looks just like Amber. I hope she and her mommy get great homes. =)
The current love of my life, Baxtor, had a similar beginning. He was born into a troubled home with too many kittens for the number of nipples that his mother had. They were forced to live in a tiny one room dirt shanty and his mother had to scavange for mice, because Baxtor’s father was quiet the TOM cat. Baxtor’s father had 7 other littles by 4 other cats…. fotunately the kitten services were alerted to the deplorable conditions that my little Baxtor-waxter was living in, and he was put up for adoption. Today, Baxtor is a successful house cat that causes little trouble, gives me TONS of lovey affection, and has been trained to use the toilet (no stinky litter boxes). With your courageous love and support, I’m sure that Speckles will some day be able to have the same success as my Baxtor.
how did you teach your cat to use the toilet ?

I invented a small device that allowed me to hook my cats litter box in the bowl of the toilet. Once Baxtor-the-maxtor realized the new location of his uncivilized-stink-box, he began to mount the toilet seat and use it like normal.
WARNING!!!!: if anyone plans to try this, be sure that the box latches SECURELY to the seat. Once, poor Baxxtor-faxtor knocked lept into the box-o-eeeuuuu and “CUR-PLUNK!” the next thing i know Baxxxtor-saxtor was dripping wet and running around my apartment.
I might have to try that sometime….
Now why can’t I find a cutie like that aroud here to adopt? I think ever since I’ve been looking for a kittie fuzz ball to take in, there are none to be found!

oooh, what a sweetie … I *adore* torties, even though most of ‘em grow up to have massive amounts of “tortie-tude.” They know what they want and won’t ever take no for an answer!

Hello Speckle is really cute. I would love to give her a home. I have a tort colored kitten here as well as a russian blue and a siamese and bengal mixed. They are all female and are looking for another sister to add to the family. I would love to take here. I hope that you find a great home for Speckle. I volinteer with a cat rescue group here where i live. I claimed Cali my tort kitten from a family that found her and her sister and 4 other siblings in a field near an old burned down barn the mother abandoned them. The family found all of them and fed them from droppers and adopted them out.
I wish that i lived closer to take that little angel.

I love this kitten!! I want to adopt him!!!/her!! I’m way in TEXAS, though! However, I am looking for a kitten for my son, he has Autism and LOVES cats. He’s very kind and gentle. Our last kitty was abducted….soooo saaad. Donovan was devastated and has never gotten over losing Patches-Larue. She was a cute little calico kitty.
The kitty looks so sad, he/she stole my heart. I also want to commend you on your work efforts to help animals.So much more of that needs to be done, especially here in the United States.(I looked up your website to see that you are in Essex and not in the US).

Thankyou for sharing such a sweet photograph of this kitty.I hope it finds a good home soon.I was tempted to research this cat and adopt him, however,due to circumstances right now, it would be best if I adopt when we will not be enclined to move overseas.I do not want undue hardship put on any animal I would have.Best of luck with your animal rescue efforts
speckles looks like she is a queen by the way she held herself up if i am mistaken, if a boy then he looks like a king in his stately graceful manners. a totallyn love animals and hate animal abusters. i hope this little kitty gets a good home aloong with her momma. lori

Speckle is so adorable, it look’s like my cat mama’s. The only difference is that my cat is older. She’s 1 year. I take pictures of her but she’s always camaflauging with her suroundings. I give your cat 100 on a scale from 1-10

Well everyone, the good news is that Speckle has been adopted, and is hopefully being looked after very well by her new family - she deserves it the gorgeous bundle of cuteness.
