They eventually turned out to be even better friends than my first. My first cat was a pure-bred silver chincilla. He was much more independent minded. Shadow, who we brought it as a sad little stray when we heard him on our backporch, now curls up with me every Sunday while I read the newspaper. I agree; Mocha will come around.
