If those ears were any bigger, they could be used for a kite :-)

They seem rather sweet little creatures. I adore all kitties, big or small - even the funky looking ones. I have to say though, the first thing I thought of when I saw these babies was a line from the film FX/2 - “What’s wrong with your cat?!”

I wish them a long happy life, with bunches of catnip on the way!

Potatoe chip cats! We call Rex cats “Potatoe chip cats” because their fur looks like a ridgy potatoe chip.
They’re sweet.

Aww, kitties. All kitties are good. Don’t laugh at different-looking kitties, or else all kitties will rebel and scratch your eyes out while you sleep. Or, in Anonymous #10’s case, scratch his “ballsax” off.

With those ears, they must be SuperMousers! There’s room enough in God’s Crittercreations for ALL “styles”!
I’ve never met a rex, but I’ve always wondered if they felt like velvet!

okay, so maybe they aren’t “classic” beauties, but they are cute all the same. Those ears remind me of Gizmo from the movie “Gremlins”.

I envy you so many adorable kittys. I have wanted a calico for as long as I can remember and I know they are always females, but no one is ever giving calicos away for free. I have a sweet striped grey kitty named Nibbler that is clost to a year old. She is so lovey ….

Again they are all so adorable ……

In reply to grammar police regarding use of they’re. Their means belonging to someone. They’re refers to they are. There refers to a place (it was over there). So grammatically speaking you could say, They’re looking for their kittens over there. There is no such word as there’re.

Actually I also would like to say sometimes people get purebreds as pets because they need homes too….

I was given(did not pay for them) all my purebreds because they all needed homes and I was wanting them to come home and be wonderful pets.
And also to have wonderful lives. It would not matter what kind they were. Just I lucked out and got some terrific pets— that were “throwbacks” no one wanted anymore. I am glad I got their rejects.

When we move back to the states (we’re in Germany, hubby’s Army duty station) I’m going to look into rescuing purebred cats. If you have any information on that, abycat, I would love an email (hollybollylolly@aol.com)!

I found this site by recommendation from some of the folks at Stuff On My Cat…. I’m so glad! This is fantastic!

These Rexes are beautiful! I like the one with the odd eyes in particular. I want to get my mom a hairless so bad!

These beautiful, worth all of those mean people who have placed ugly comments lives, babies are going to steal hearts. They will be more loyal than a dog, more sweet than candy, and everyone will always want to pet the softest down fur they will grow into. You, my dear, have gold. Good choice!

We have just got a Devon kitten and one would never know how this ugly little thing can eat its way into your heart until you have one, tip him upside down and he could be taken for a bat ehehheh.

I have had ordinary cats, Burmese, and Siamese and never have I seen a cat like this.. He a precious, beautiful, friendly, funny, fantastic, loving, playful kitten. they are everything that is said of them, like They have been described as a “monkey in cat’s clothing”. and boy they are..
they like to sit on your shoulder so as they can keep on eye on everything around them, and on you of course! …
His monkey like antics and his loving personality has everyone hooked, line and sinker. … they own you not you own them and a typical Devon is active, mischievous, playful, and very people-oriented. Many describe them as part monkey, pig and human because of how intelligent, and they are..
When I first got this kitten, I thought that I couldn’t keep him as he was so ugly as he didn’t have hair, but it is strange how you get used to them and now that he has grown into his skin, his hair is growing back and he is no longer ugly, he is just so handsome. The best thing is there isn’t a mass of hair everywhere and all over your cloths. I would recommend Devon Rex cats to anyone.
