Hi! I’m Poppy Velvet-toes’ mommy! Thank you for all the sweet comments. I’m so sorry for those who have lost sweeties like her. She is now almost 2yrs. old. A little girl was giving her away in front of Target 2 yrs ago in May. Coyotes had just killed our coon kitty Daisy, so Poppy was a blessing 2 wks later. She is still a cute fuzzy chunk of love with the eyes of an angel but an attitude like the devil!!!! LOL!!
I am also sorry for your loss. My Meeko was also a Coon. They are the best cats ever. We are supposed to be picking up a rescued one soon, but it is far, and we have arrangements to make…
Losing a furry child is always hard. I cried for days…I still cry now if I think about to hard! I hope you can another kitty soon. They really are the best pets!!! I love ‘em!!!

omg this has got to be THE cutest kitten ever! he/she is sooo adorable if i knew you i would be at your house all the time just to see the kitten! im a big cat fan like my friend will try to get their dog to chase the cat and scare it to death and ill go over to them slap them put the dog outside and hold the cat until it calms down they all get mad at me but hey if they wanna be my friends they gotta care for cats at least a little bit

LOL!!! Poppy is too wacky for anyone but us!! She has this cattitude of being Queen of Everything & she won’t back down from anyone! That sweet face is really evil!! LOL!!!! But she’ll melt you when she looks at you & purrs & rubs her silky fur against your leg…I’m such a sucker for a player cat!!!LOL!!
lol, I know the feeling. My Coon, Meeko was the same way. Devil incarnate, but when he would sashay up to me and do his sweet little chirp-y meow I would forgive anything he had just done. My fiance hated it. He was the kitty equivelent of a mommas boy-could do no wrong
Now HIM, I would offer a $1000 reward for…. but we tried that-just like we would never give him up, whoever took him won’t give him up either. That’s why we’re moving… I can’t stay in that neighborhood knowing someone took my baby…

We call that sound, “purrgling”. Sort of a mix of a gurgle, a purr & meow. I love it!! I hope you can find a new coon kitty…I’ve had 6 Maine coon cats in my life….4 females(Daisy, Daisy Too, Daisy-loo, & Poppy) & 2 males(Yampa & Aslan). Love those coon kitties…they are my husband’s fave cat! Nice for us to agree on that!
we are supposed to adopt one from a breeder, he was rescued from a hoarder, but he is in Savannah, GA, and we are moving soon, so we would rather move and then go get him because it would just stress him out. I know about the “potato chip” factor with Coons, once you have one…. I will never be as loyal to another breed… just great cats. I want to try to get into showing them, but I have a lot to learn.
P.S. *I wanted to tell you that I absolutly LOVE that you named one of your males Aslan!!!* *I was thinking of naming our new kitty that!* (his current name is Steel, because of his color, but I’m not too fond of that generic name. So it will be Aslan or Pickles, depending on when I get to know him more…)

She is so cute and beautiful blue eyes. I have two cats and love them a lot. One was rescued after a hurricane. She was about a month old and very scared. Both of my cats are very loving.
