Excuse me, I hardly think it’s justified that you bemoan a kitty playing all day, and then, on top of that, blame it as the cause of her needed sleep.

Kitties play and sleep. That’s all they do. That’s all they should do. Your mother let you have your childhood. There’s no need to grow up so fast. Let the kitty be a kitty!

When the kitty is older, then and only then should the cat learn the value of hardwork.

James, dearest, you do have a weird sense of humor. Sometimes, I think others don’t get it. BTW, you offered to shave the two kittens yesterday. Could you bring your clippers of here? I’ve got a real shedder over here. Nothing but fur when you pet her.

Cat hard work:

Napping. Getting ready for the next nap. Evaluating the results of the last nap. Eating. Staring at the foodbowl, when it is half empty. Posing. Staring meaningfully at available humans. Staring meaningfully at the wall and ceiling. Giving thought to the next nap trajectory.
Galloping around like a herd of cattle between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Maximizing nap efficiency. Growing hair.

Such a sweet baby - I love sleeping kittens, but I always want to scoop them up to snuggle.

And my kitty likes to dunk his mice in his water bowl… or put him in his food bowl with his kibble…. his favorite mice are the fern green ones with fake fur from Pet Smart! My kitty was featured on November 7! Sunday is his second birthday!!

I try tiring out my littlest kitty but he’s like the Engergizer bunny! Cats sleep around 18 hours a day! It must be less than that when they’re kittens.

*SLEEPY TIME FUZZ*

Quite everyone! Let the little Princess get her sleep for some day she will be Queen of the house. Sorry Aardie’s mom - move over, there is only room for one royality in the house.

Good morning fuzz pack
good morning JAMES - how are we feeling - hopefully not with your … tastebuds. lol - ha ha ha

Aardie is a very pretty little girl, but beware she isn’t really sleeping, she is just waiting and listening for that purr-fect sound to occur so she can spring back to life with avengance.

I read somewhere that cats sleep 70% of the day and groom 15% of the day, so I assume the last 15% is left for playtime.

Yep, agreed, she is charging her batteries for the next go round of running and playing. But have to agree with James. Let kitties be kitties. They grow up so doggone fast and before you know it they are big kitties. Aardie is so sweet and innocent looking and cute.

I’d like to be able to know which James is which. I had to add a “C” after my name because there are at least 2 more Karens. Could you do something similar?

QUESTION: Is there really just one James who thinks it’s funny to post sweet posts AND evil posts?? That’s quite clever, actually.

I think James is a Jeckyll and Hyde character who is gradually being taken over by his evil side. TDK is his only hope of redemption. We must reach out to him.

I’d like to know the history behind her name. Aardie is unique (at least to me). What does it mean? Where did it come from? Is it a nickname to a full name?

Inquiring minds want to know…

You’re right! Baseball mitt.
My favorite cat paws are the polydactyls. They are so big and cute and fluffy I could just snorgle them, as cuteoverload says.
But I also feel the same about large cat paws–tigers and lions.
If I worked at a zoo I would be an amputee in no time at all because I would have to get in the pen and snorgle all the giant cats and rub their huge tummies.
