We did that once with a tortie kitten I named Amber. Found her under a truck with a big shepard-mix trying to get her. So we brought her home, fixed her up, and had a neighbor adopt her (we had 3 cats at the time).
Its great that you were able to keep her!
I know I’m biased because of Gheeri, but I liked Mitchu better… then again, you can almost see his personality in the pic, but this poor little thing barely has a personality at this age!

Very similar to my kitty’s rescue…13 years ago this year, and she’s still with us.

Your litle baby must be a cousin of my 2 ( brother & sister )…they are identical to Brei!
Our two, Majic & Mojo, were adopted from the Humane Society , rescued after having a rough start as strays.
I am so glad Brei has a good, safe home now. She is so pretty , I just want to scoop her up for hugs and kisses!

I like your comment. Reminds me of a mnemonic I used to remember a license plate number I had. The letters were KEB. My kitty (well, one of three, but he bonded with me the most), his name is Kona. KEB came to stand for “Kona Es Bonito”
Now my license plate letters are KKF which now stands for:
“Kona Kitty Friend”
