This is Danya (Даня) when he was a wee little kitten in our flat in Kherson, Ukraine. He used to crawl atop this rolled up rug to escape the “Dachshund from Hell” that we also had. Now that he is full-grown and HUGE he chases the dog!

He’s so sweet. Looks like he’s saying “OK MOM, I’ll CLEAN MY ROOM IN A MINUTE!”. I bet the sight of him chasing the doggie is something to see. The dog may be the DOG FROM HELL, but this little guy is from HEAVEN!
I agree, it is cool to see them as little bitty guys, (and they are probably a LOT cuter when they are kittens) but it would still be pretty cool to see them all grown up too.
Kind of like looking at celebrity baby pictures!!
Danya is one cute little guy, I am glad to hear that he has gotten his revenge and can chase the dog now!!!

There, now that I’ve got that out of my system(sort of like Rosie and the Recurring Hairballs), isn’t Danya a darling!! I’m glad he has that dog under control now. ALL dogs need to be trained by their cats; they should show proper respect, stay out of the litter pan, and NOT LICK unless invited. When Flumpy gets a big sloppy one from Shep the Dog, he reminds me of Lucy from Peanuts–”Ugh, I’ve been kissed by a dog!”

Jeff-Is your Kat the other Kat to whom Kat was referring? I speak computer geek- Paul did software for 15 years, got into hardware, burned out, and is now building an airplane in his shop. Piers is a crazy old coot, but anyone who could come up with Sammy the Cat can’t be all bad!
Bagheera–I still haven’t managed to fight my way out of the Pub, but thanks for putting me in there. It’s the only drinking I get to do these days.

No, my Kat does not frequent the site…she is not necessarily “opposed” to kitties, but not nearly as crazy about them as I am either. But, I do think she can be converted once we get a stable enough home to get one of our own, so don’t give up hope for her!
