Daisy Jane

Daisy JaneThis is our new kitten Daisy Jane (remember that song by America?) that we just got last week. We unfortunately had to have our eight year old cat, Marble, put to sleep two days before Christmas, and we missed her terribly. We got this kitten to fill the void, and she does just that. It sure is amazing how a little creature can help your heart heal! We just love her. Daisy’s favorite activities include snuggling in bed and attacking fake plants.

A nice little furpot you have there.

Daisy is just doing her job. Evil aliens are planning on taking over and the fake plants are really spies that they have sent to record us and determine how best to take over. Daisy realizes this and attacks them every chance she can get. She’s not doing this for herself, she’s not doing this for you, she’s doing this for the entire world!

P.S. I love the rainbow mousie in the background. My friends cats play with them like crazy. Chasing them all over the house and whatnot.

Daisy Jane is such a pretty little girl. It is plain to see how you fell in love with her!

Our family was devasted as well when our beloved tabby (who looked just like your kitten here! ) fell very ill and had to be put to sleep. Six months later 2 adorable kittens came into our lives.

What a pretty girl you are, Daisy Jane!! I’m glad you are keeping your pet humans safe from those rogue plants.

Be careful, though; there are also aliens in the bed. *BEDMICE* have to be stalked very carefully, because they are shape- shifters. When you pounce them, they turn into hands and feet!! The striped mousie is much safer, but not nearly as satisfying!!

Those are stick-on ears, right?
She also appears to have rather imposing paws.
Precious!

What a sweetie!

I’m so sorry for your loss, but at least you have this adorable girl now. You can’t replace a pet, but a new one can fill the empty space in your heart and home!

With that straight-forward look, the proof is right in front of you that animals will never lie.

I AM NOT A CROOK FUZZ

It’s breakfast time, and how right to be served such a luscious kitten.
Wait! That did’t sound right!

Daisy is adorable. Now, she and I must team up to enlighten the world about plump whisker pads. They are just part of a kitty’s charm! Plus, they keep the whiskers from drooping.

Flex those whiskers, pretty girl. Geoffrey and I are right behind you.

One of my cats, Mamie, has the BIGGEST whisker pads I have ever seen. I dont’ have kitten pictures of her ‘cuz I adopted her from a shelter as an adult. She’s like my oldest child, keeps the other younger ones in line. Amazing how each one has their own personality but all were brought up the same way?!?!?

PS - Thank you webmaster!

Smart kitty, attacking fake plants. You never know when those real plants are gonna bite you back.

Is that a toy mousie, or did somebody color Daisy’s tail for Easter?

Way cute!

Daisy Jane is beautiful! She reminds me of my Max who passed away in October. My Special Ed was a Christmas gift to help ease the pain. I will try to get a photo of him to you all so you can see that regardless of being a cat of little brain he is very handsome. I am off to an all night Realy for Life with my son. We will be walking until 7:00 tomorrow morning to raise money for cancer. One of my students has leukemia and he’ll be singing at the benefit.

SpEd, I don’t know if you got my comment under Vinnie. We would love to see a picture of your Special Ed. Look for a comment by Emma’s Kat for the link. It’s called Kat’s Cat of the Day. We love picture of all cats, past and present.

I’m the one with the son with Spina Bifida. Thanks for being a Spec Ed teacher!

Daisy Jane you are a real sweetie as well as a cutie. I like your markings, especially the white spot on the chest. All kittens have ears they have to grow into, she is no exception.

Daisy Jane looks very smart! She looks dignified, too…

Daisy Jane is obviously a quality fur-person and we had to respond to your story…We had to put our Meelo, who was only five, to sleep unexpectedly the day before Christmas Eve as well…when we went to the shelter a few weeks later to look for a kitten, we had our hearts stolen by another 5-year-old, a beauty we rechristened River.

Sorry about #32, we were trying to preview to see if we could leave a link…you can see our fur-persons here… http://flickr.com/photos/jspad/tags/cat
