Archie and his siblings were found abandoned under a truck and rescued. Archie won our hearts and was immediately adopted. He loves his new playmates… two other cats and a dog.

Hi, everyone! Here is a cool link to copy and paste—it’s a test that will determine your cat’s real biological age in human years—it also offers advice on how your cat could be even healthier—they said my Atticus has “weight issues.” THE NERVE!!
The following joke proves how much fortitude our cats have!
A man absolutely hated his wife’s cat and decided to get rid of him one day by driving him 20 blocks from his home and leaving him at the park.
As he was getting home, the cat was walking up the driveway.
The next day he decided to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home.
Driving back up his driveway, there was the cat!
He kept taking the cat further and further and the cat would always beat him home. At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right until he reached what he thought was a safe distance from his home and left the cat there.
Hours later the man calls home to his wife: “Jen, is the cat there?”
“Yes,” the wife answers, “why do you ask?”
Frustrated, the man answered, “Put that son of a ***** on the phone, I’m lost and need directions!!”
You know, my grandfather once felt there were too many cats on his farm (they congregated in the barn, probably because my grandmother kept feeding them) and put them into a truck to take to the pound, but when he got there, they were not in the truck and they were all back at the farm! He left them alone and they always had alot of cats around. My grandmother says that’s why they never had any mice their house too. Smart grandmother, but then the women are smarter than the men, are they not?!!!!!!
Aubrey—I used to LOVE reading Archie comics. After reading your post, I had to google Archie stuff. I’m feeling all nostalgic now. This kitten looks like he could turn into a “Reggie.”
I thought it was interesting that the cat’s name is Annie—–a while back, we were discussing how cat’s named Annie are pretty tough and the cat in the photos is no exception!
As I looked at the pictures more, I was reflecting on how amazing it is that Annie is not trying to *get* the squirrel. My kittehs all stay indoors of course, by my neighbors cat is often seen *chasing* the squirrels I feed in my back yard. Thankfully I’ve never seen her *get* one!

Maybe the squirrel was making that freaky noise they make and Annie is kind of scared! In one photo, Annie is seemingly oblivious to the squirrel. And what a beautiful squirrel! All full of cherries!
He is just too cute for words! I love the orange kits..that will be Onyx’s new brother or sister when we get moved is an orange kitty…..then we’ll have Halloween kits!
Hi! I am new to this site. Archie is soo cute. I have four indoor cats: Norm, a stray we took in, who is 11; Mika, a Burmese we bought from a breeder in Rosamond CA who is 7; Sasha, a Burmese we bought from a breeder in Hesperia CA; and lastly Grady, a shelter cat we acquired in 2002. I have had as many as 10 cats over the years. Mostly shelter adoptions. I enjoy this site and will post again.
When you get done taking the picture, can I have a hug???? Cute little pout fuzz.
Hi KitKat, I have four indoor cats also. Three are 12 years old and I just acquired another cat when it was a starving kitten in our yard and she is almost one year old. The other three I have are not siblings. Ironically, when I brought my cat Casper home as kitten, my daughter had just acquired a kitten of her own and one used to be an outside cat. Our daughter is no longer living at home and I somehow have acquired her cat. So we are one big happy family.
Thanks for your reply. I didn’t think I would get one since I posted so late today. I am glad you have a big happy family. I would like more but no room. I receive emails from the Burmese rescue people. I would love to take them all in. Too many homeless pets. Such a pity. You seem like a nice cat owner.
The sweetest kitty I ever had was named “Archie” and this little guy looks like he has that same potential! Good for you to bring him home. My Archie was a throw away too, they make the best pets!
Such a precious little face with the pink nose and lips…and those expressive blue eyes. We would love to give Archie a big and gentle hug! God bless Archie always, and you for rescuing this sweet baby.
Awwwwwwwwww………..

He won me over, that’s for sure.
He reminds me of Fiyero, my kitten who died in November. But I’ll admit he is a cutie!
*HuH FuZz!*
i just want to kiss his little pink nose!
What a pretty boy! He has Angelina Jolie’s lips.
I love his creamsicle coloring and soulful gaze…
What a cute little button nose!

Isn’t this a great quote for all of us animal lovers??
I feel the capacity to care is the thing which gives life its deepest significance.
