Jasper

JasperThis is my new baby who I’m still waiting for. He is not quite old enough to leave his momma (his litter is being fostered for the Humane Society). My cat, Poodle, has been very bored and lonely since we moved and he was separated from his sister. I am hoping that Poodle and Jasper will become best buddies!

He is an angel from cat heaven! I’ve never seen a kitten cuter than that little boy!!! I hope Jasper will love his new home! I know for sure he’ll love you! We might get a new kitten. If I do more work around the house we might. It’ll probably be a no, but if i do, I’ll send a pic in! My cat will hopefully be the daily cat soon. She’s a cutey-pie. Although she’s 4 yrs old, I still call her ‘babygirl’

PS: Hope Jasper loves you to death!!! :)

What a cutie he is. I hope Poodle (I assume there’s a story behind that name) will get along well with your new boy.

gray tabbies rule and ALWAYS get along with other kitties (as long as the other kitties do what the gray tabby says, of course). This past January I introduced 8 week old gray tabby Vinny to 6 year old Buddy, and now Buddy is perky and happy. They wrestle and play, and Buddy even plays with his toys more. Its been great (once you get past the first weekend of hissing).

He looks like he must be the bruiser of the bunch, tho - he looks big. What a cutie & he has a good home to go to!!

How’s the little kitties doing, Dottcomm1? I think you were the one with kitties down in Jackson NJ area, correct? I still might come by to ‘kittennap’ some of them if they are still around. :-)

Cute kitty! And look at those adorable green eyes! Hope your 2 kittycats get along well. There may be some hissing at first, but I had 2 cats many years ago and they were best pals!

What a beautiful kitten he will a most welcome addition to your family.

My Domino spent the first couple of days hissing at Taffy and then he decided he was Taffy’s mom (both males) and carried Taffy around in his mouth by the scruff of Taffy’s neck. I was very worried that he was going to hide him in the closet but he carried him to the food bowls and litter box. They became great friends and cohorts in crime. Altho the wrestling matches had me worried as Domino was 22lbs and Taffy just a tiny kitten but Taffy gave as good as he got.

That is too cool. Animals are so intelligent. I love that he showed his new buddy around.

Isn’t it odd how males can become “moms,” too? I have a 5 1/2 year old male, Gabe, and he’s been mom to my 2 year old and 1 1/2 year old males since the younger two were 5 weeks and 3 months old (none of the three are related). The 2 year old, Koel, (who I adopted as an abandoned baby from the Humane Society) even acts the part of the baby to Gabe and “presents” his head for Gabe to clean (Rex was a pretty independent 3-month old sorta stray when he adopted me so he didn’t act like he really needed a feline mom).

Makes my heart go all aflutter each time I see Gabe taking care of HIS kittens…

Wow, I didn’t know that the “mom” washed the kitten’s head it was the other way around with my two. Domino was a chubba bubba and Taffy would wash his head and he would even cover up Dominos leavings in the box! I had two boxes side by side they would pee in one and poop in the other. Taffy went from being the baby to Domino’s devoted slave. Taffy would beg for treats and DOmino would sit quietly figuring if Taffy got some he would too but if Taffy got in trouble Domino he could act innocent!

Gorgeous little gray puffball! Gray (or “blue” for you pedigreed kitties) is about the only color of cat that I have never had as a pet. I will one day… but for now I will just love my daughter’s solid gray shorthair, Conan. (Don’t feel sorry for me, I have 8 cats of my own, just no gray!) Conan is very sweet and very vocal!

I just know Jasper will be a great companion!

I have three girls and who weren’t related and they’re still fighting each other, I’ve had the oldest two for 17 years and the youngest 9. They all think they are the head of house. I might need to get some boys next lol

I;ve been reading this site every day for several months. I love it.
