Mickey

MickeyMickey is one of my foster kitties. We took him home to fatten him up a little bit because he is VERY thin. He was found on the side of the road and was a little wild, and has little kitty bed sores on his back feet and thin spots of hair on his body from fleas. He was also sick with a cold! But he’s such a sweetheart, and hopefully he can be adopted pretty soon.

Mickey’s thinking. ” I’m a little on the thin side and I’m named after a mouse, but I ‘m going to grow up to be the star attraction in someone’s house”.

Aw Tom, you are a poet! :))

Most definitely somebody will fall in love with him and those beautiful eyes. He must have a great disposition. I notice nobody is holding on to him. Lots of other kittens would have to be pried off the ceiling. :))

Soggy Fuzz!

In response to Rorye’s post yesterday about becoming involved in her local shelter-Rorye, that was my situation. I just went to the no-kill humane society, and let them know the skills that I could bring. You just have to help how you can. I work full time so I am in charge of designing their webpage (www.eldonfriendsofanimals.org). Do what you can, when you can, they’ll appreciate anything you can do

Poor little baby he sure has had a rough start in life. I sure hope he gets a forever home soon with lots of love and good food. Right now he looks like the ’60’s model Twiggy all eyes and skinny body.

DROWNED RAT CAT…..If I could I would adopt Mickey in a second, the look in his eyes is one of complete trust…a little bit of “I’m not sure what you are trying to do, but I’m going to trust you, because you seem to have my best interest at heart”
Please tell whoever adopts him, to give him LOTS of LOVE!!!!!

Hello Rose and thank you for asking!
The family is great! We found out just yesterday that the doctor was wrong! They said that Sarah would have a girl, but she is really having a boy! We’ve decided to name him Jacob Matthew! Christopher and Caitlyn are great too! There’s not a cuter sight than seeing two toddlers try to draw a picture of the baby. They’ve been so excited! Some people say you don’t always get what you want, but I have exactly what i have always wanted. I have a house, a job, a wife, and kids! Now little Jacob will complete our life. But who knows, life may just get better as we walk down the road!

Sweet little wet guy. So lucky to have been rescued, and now all cleaned up and obviously ready to be wrapped in a warm towel and a big hug so he can practice purring. Thanks for helping him.

That’s so sad I’m actually crying. 8 years ago my family adopted 2 kittens. They were very inbred and had so many fleas that one of them almost died. They are both sterile and have wrongly shaped jaws so that they find it hard to eat. They look a bit funny but we love them to death and they’re both in great health. They just take a bit of extra looking after.
Poeple who hurt cats should die.
