This is my “angel BABY”. I got her fostering ababdoned kittens for the humane society. When the time came to let her go to her new forever home I couldnt let her go. She was one of 5 btothers and sisters. I miss them all but BABY stole my heart. She now enjoys welcoming all her foster brothers and sisters.27 Comments »

I was wondering how you got into fostering the kittens, I recently had a kitten come into my life about 5weeks old, I named him romeo I had to bottle feed him and I spent all my free time with him I became so attached and he was my baby to. Then he became lathargic, like a comotose state he came out of it and I took him to the vet he was fine for a few days and then went back into it again but this time worse, the vet told me it would be best to put him to sleep, it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and I miss him to no end!!!! I ask myself every minute of every day if I did the right thing maybe he would have come out of it again? maybe they could have found out what was causing it? But they made me feel it was the best for a kitten his age I called the vet the next day and told him that I was having a hard time dealing with it emotionally and I needed to know if I had done the best thing. It wasnt the same vet that had been on when I brung him in, but he had been filled in on the situation, the first thing he said was well I understand there where some money issues, so in my mind I feel they told me it was the best because of money. Im heartbroken and I would have paid whatever I could have to keep him alive. Im sorry that Im babaling but i just miss him so and maybe if I where to be involved in saving more kittens I could feel better.

i am currently fostering 2 kittens named oreo and shadow! lolz, umm to that person who wanted to know how to foster kittens, you go to a local humane society, and try to become a volounteer, once you are one, you have to volounteer for 10 hours, then in the springtime, you can foster! it’s soo fun! baby is the cutest kitten!
