Copernicus

CopernicusMaybe it was just me, but it seemed like Copernicus had an abnormally large head as a kitten. He grew into it as he got older.

Forgive me but why do you have so many kittens? Did you know that too many pregnancies shorten a female’s life span and causes health problems. IF you love cats so much why not just rescue a whole bunch.

Here is a great link for animal lovers. The Word Society for the Protection of Animals has started a worldwide “Animals Matter To Me” campaign. They are working to get 10 million on-line signatures to ask our governments to help protect all animals. Plus, there is a sweet photo gallery where you can upload your pets’ pics!

Did you look at the photo gallery at the site? I’m trying to look at all the pics—they are beautiful! And, a lot of the captions are getting me all misty—I’m such a baby.

OF course Dee, how can I let pics of animals go by! I even uploaded my gang of 3! Btw, I am a big baby too! Maybe if more people were it would be a much nicer world :))

Dee, come on. First thing you do is filll in your e-mail address and then it will direct you to upload a picture. I am assuming you have pictures saved on your hardrive. So click on browse and go to your picture and add your fave. Easy.
They said it takes at least a couple of days for them to add the pics once you have uploaded them.

Comment by Dee from Tampa
2006-09-18 14:37:45

Nope—no pics on hardrive. I guess that should be the first step!
But, it does sound easy, actually.

Yes it is. I am assuming you have a scanner? IF you do, you just scan the pics you want to save on your PC and then you take it from there. Good luck Dee and let me know how goes it.

I have two now but can’t get the hubby past that number. I firmly believe I will be that “Cat Lady” that really takes care of her kitties and has tons (okay maybe not a ton but 5 or 6).

I hear ya! I can’t actually believe I have 3 and longing for number 4. lol…I think as long as we stop in the single digits we can’t officially be called ‘Cat Ladies.’
To be quite honest 3 is much more work then 2. So while I love them madly I think I agree with your husband.

Is it that his/her head is too big or is it the angle the picture is taken. Whatever, he/she is beautiful - they all are…

Take her to the doctor right away! Cats don’t get ”colds” like humans, it could be a serious virus.

Actually my Taffy when he was a wee kitten had gotten a cold I took him to the vet and he gave me meds with an eye dropper. He was so sick I didn’t have much trouble slipping it in the side of his mouth. Now when Domino caught the same cold he tried to bite the eye dropper in half. My mom’s nurse thought it was the more serious kitten/puppy sickness but luckily it wasn’t. I agree Kristen should go to the vet to be sure besides the vet can give her kitten something to ease her sneezes etc.

Sorry I am so late in posting but I still hadn’t gotten TDK when I went to bed at midnight.

Today’s kitten reminds me of that artist that paints pix of little children with huge eyes. This is one sweet kitten.

Copernicus needs a large head in order to use his telescope. Though in this case, it just seems like it’s the perspective picked up by the camera.

What a sweet snuggle ball! My orange tabby, Redford, is 15 yrs, and I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is in decline with kidney problems–I’m so sad, but he is so good about taking his shots and meds, then lays on my lap and snuggles and purrs all day…our other kit, Mitzi is 12 and she tries to take care of him…cats are so amazing..people should learn from them!

Copernicus. What a big name! He reminds of a older cartoon show “Pinky and the Brain”. Brain (a mouse) was always plotting to take over the world! Pinky was the not too bright goofball sidekick mouse. So you never know, Copernicus may have been plotting to take over “the world”.
Seriously, he’s very cute
