Connor looks like a Ragdoll. Yes?? He is so gorgeous! I have an 11 month old Ragdoll named Bianca and she brings so much joy to my world. I visit this site everyday during my break at work but I have never posted a comment. Things get a little stressful at work and the Daily Kitten helps me relax and focus on what really matters - cute fuzzballs. Keep up the good work!
Yes, Connor is a Raggie - he is 4 months old and a very sweet little boy. I just love Raggies they are the sweetest of cats. Thank you for your kind comments
I have 3 Ragdolls–sisters are about 2 or 2 1/2 years old (shelter kitties) and Max, our first purebred kitten. He’s 5 months old and very good at it! I love the personality of this breed!
He’s definetly a Rag…..so cute….I have a year old Rag named Bear….and he’s constantly doing something to brighten up our day…..Ragdolls i think are the best cats around!!!
Well, maybe we should all look at the world upside down. Then maybe we’ll see things right side up! What an adorable little kitty! So Soft and Fuzzzzy!
All these kitties lately look like precious little cartoons! I’m going to die from the worst case of “squishies” ever.
Thank you all for your input regarding Jasper’s affinity for salsa. I have tried to keep her away from my food (mostly for propiety’s sake) but when it comes to the salsa she climbs onto my shoulder and butts my head out of the way so she can steal the chip and salsa before it gets to my mouth. I’ll just have to be less indulgent with her so she doesn’t get anemia. I don’t want to be a bad steward.
i love the pose… he has the prettiest markings too
one thing that has worked well for me is to give my kitties a little treat when i am eating, i always have a pouch of wet cat food on hand. that way they don’t feel left out. lol
just don’t let them have to much or they can get fat
Just keep us posted Kristin. Whatever you do, dont give them people medicine. Little cat bodies can’t handle drugs and formulations for people. One thing you can do to ease their breathing is a menthol based rum (Vick’s Vapor rub here in the U.S.) When Emma got a respiratory infection last winter my Vet approved it until the meds kicked in.
I had to keep mine in the bathroom with the warm air humidifier for a couple days with the Vick’s stuff to help them breath. Kristen, it will get better. Don’t be afraid to call the vet you might go to to see if you can talk to a vet tech and they might have some ideas too, at least until you can get them in.
My vet gives kitties real people valium when they are stressed and me and my cat were on the same antibiotics for a while there…just different doses, cats obviously need MUCH less. But you are very right, never give your cats anything that hasn’t been approved by your vet. Also, we have vicks vapo rub here in Australia too, I think it’s pretty global.
UPDATE FOR ALL THE GOOD PEOPLE WHO GAVE ADVICE ON OUR NEIGHBORHOOD STRAY:
Well, I got some news on the tom cat stray in our neighborhood, it wasn’t very good. My neighbor caught the cat (a feat I’m not sure how she did) and brought it to a vets office. She asked for bloodwork to be done and the results was feline aids. She asked the vet to put him to sleep, but the vet told her that if she paid for the treatment there was a place that would take cats like him, so she agreed to that. She could not take the cat inside her house because it was so mean to other animals, and she has a cat and dog. Anyway, at least the cat will be sent to a place where he will be taken care of until his end comes.
I do believe Conner has the right idea. While he looks at the world upsidedown he gains a new perspective on things. I think we humans can learn a lot from this in that viewing things from more than one side helps us to open our minds and take a look at that big picture we her so much about. By the way he’s not just smart he’s real cute too.9bfl
