Were those people crazy? They must have hearts of stone.

Just look at that little face… it’s LOVE all rolled up in a sweet little ginger kitten.

I know his forever family appreciates him.

We don’t know the reason they had to give up the kitty. Maybe they were heartless or maybe one was alergic or moved to a non pet apartment building or financialy could not afford to feed and pay for vet bills. We never know others problems.

Love ginger kitties and Eric is adorable. Really reminds me of my Alfie who is going to be a year old in October. Did you say ‘cheeky’ is that mischievous? I think that is the nature of ginger kitties. They are very, very playful, I guess some people can’t handle it. Oh well, their loss. They should all be with people that love them, they deserve nothing less. :))

I’ve never had the honor of being owned by a ginger kitteh, but I did get to foster a bottle baby once… they do have a different take on catlife than most other cats. If there’s trouble, they’ll find it and be right in the middle of it, but they’ll always make you smile.

awww he looks just like my Taffy did. Taffy had four white paws and of course, the half tail but the same bib and sweet face hiding the most devious mind!!! If Taffy couldn’t find trouble he would create it. Poor Domino would be sleeping peacefully and Taffy would grab his tail and take a nip I think it might of been tail envy.

Not crazy at all. A few years back a young man that I knew had a dream about having a white kitten with black spots that he would name “Waffles.” It was about a year later that a friend adopted a pregnant stray cat. When the cat had kittens one was white with black spots. This former young man is now married with a child and Waffles is with him still!

Eric is a doll! Red (or Ginger) kitties are “special.” My red classic boy, Booger, is the sweetest, snuggliest kitty I have….but he’s also a stinker! When he wants attention — usually about 4:00 a.m. — he’ll knock something off the nightstand, or bat around a drapery cord right while perched on the bed rail right above our heads. If that doesn’t work, he’ll wedge in between our pillows and purr like hell! He MUST be petted! I’m betting Eric will give you as much love as our Booger gives us…AND…receive it, too!

A little story about my orange boy, Stewart. Last night, I was busy filling a large necklace order…. didn’t have time to play “cat fishing” with the pole….. Our kitten, Oscar (July5), wanted to play. Stewart grabbed the pole in his teeth and dragged it back and forth across the floor for Oscar to play with. What a great friend he is!

Again, I just love the orange tabby cats. They’re the best!

Just giving you all an up date on Eric. I can’t believe he is “babe” of the day !!! (september 21st). I didn’t even know if I had done it right.

He is currently curled up on my pillow, gently purring. When I go to check on him, he stretches and roles over for his tummy tickling, ready to grab my hands and nibble me!!
We have conversations too as he is very chatty, my husband thinks I am mad speaking to a cat. Why not? Eric answers me back!! I was cleaning the coal fire out yesterday and unbeknown to me, he had been for a nosey and had soot on his paws, he then jumped onto my back and laid there till I had done, revealing pretty paw prints on my top. Bless !!
