I want the fluffy grey one in the upper left. Or the black and white on the right who seems to be getting strangled.

I am new to this site, thanks to the feature on the Yahoo! sidebar. I think I have a new favorite place. I love the quartet of kittens today. I have two of my own that we recently acquired when the mother rejected them.

I love those kitties. Our late ‘Hootie’ was like the black and white one ‘cept he had a black nose! Now we have ‘Sammy’, a red tiger w/a white blaze. :-)

What has been going on with TDK? I couldn’t get it all day yesterday. It was up for a moment this morning and when I tried to post a comment it went away again? I missed you guys!

I love the bundle of cute and want to kiss all of their wee little nosies!

How cute! I love farm kitties. My grandmother kept cats on her farm and they were always having kittens up in the loft inside the bushels that were empty. They would climb to the top and jump into the top bushel! We would go to see the kittens, but the mothers kept moving them all over the barn! You have quite a cute bunch there!
About the problems, I had problems getting on too yesterday and this morning.

The daily kitten was on Yahoo’s sidebar today, so maybe it got slammed and was unavailable. I need this site more than ever as my Xena has left me - presumed Rainbow Bridge bound. I shall meet her and her friends Charlie and Fred, after the end.
I recently had a dream that Xena was a cape-wearing flying superhero. My friend suggested maybe that was her way of telling me that she is an angel.
So, I’m kittenless, for now, but thinking about adopting in the future. Thanks to TDK for giving me kittens to love every day.

I had a dream a couple of years ago about my all black cat, Mouser. In the dream, he had points like a siamese, but they were red and glowed like coals. I went to the tattoo parlor the next day and had that image of a black and firey red siamese tattooed on my shoulder. With wings, so Mouser is my angel cat, and sits on my shoulder always.

I have to say I’m glad that fistful of kittens wasn’t born on my property. Then I’d have 8 cats instead of the 4 I have now.

I couldn’t get into TDK earlier, either, but I kept trying, and it was all worth. Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR cuddly kittens!

I like the “matched set” of tabbies on the bottom. They remind me of my late, lamented Graycat when he was a kitten.

how did you resist? i would have a house full of kitties if it had been me. :) (and two full grown and P.O.ed cats who are used to having the place to themselves).
i had a hard time getting my daily kitty fix too. i was very glad when it finally came up.
    the server is probably overloaded.
to the kittenmaster, how hard would it be to set up an acount for donations? i know i would not mind spending a few dollars to help, and i am sure others feel the same way.
it would be a small price to pay in return for the uplifting point this is in my normal ho-hum day.

I about had a panic attack when I coudn’t get to TDK yesterday AND until this evening today!

I feel sorry for farm cats: many, many often lead very short lifes, plauged by parasites and disease, eating only what they can catch, drinking spilled water off the barn floor, etc.

Some (I hope more than I suspect…..) get regular, decent quality cat food, fresh water, a warm place to sleep. But they don’t get as much interaction with humans, and don’t get to sleep on a soft human bed and watch the birds through the window, and play with cat toys, etc., etc., :-(

Not all farm cats are abused……we have 2 farm cats(kittens) at present they are feed science diet as much as they can eat they see the vet every year along with all the other family pets. They get tons of atention from our 4 children and I think our six year old daughter gives them to much atention. And they sleep nightly on our beds with our dachtshund, cloe who also thinks she is a kitten. Please don’t acuse all farm animals of being neglected , we have a couple of healty ones right here.

They are so cute, particularly the black aand white one.
My grandfather had an estate, which included a not quite working farm. He loved cats, and while the farm cats only got to come in, in bad weather (they had two barns the rest of the time) they got regular cat food, and safe people food, along with the prey they (might have) caught. He got most of them neutered, but we still had 25 to 40 at any given time, all plump and lazy. And that didn’t count the dozen or so house cats, my mother and his other children had.

Ahhh a veritable ‘kitten hydra’ of cuteness. It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a beast, not since my seafaring days when I met a many-headed tabby wearing all the different sailor hats of her victims, the cuteness was like a siren’s song leading straight to Davy Jones’ locker!
