You can tell the kitty is a girl otherwise a boy kitty would already have the remote in his paws and he would be surfing!

I love black kitties my first kitten was all black with three white hairs on her neck. My brother rescued Shadow from the middle of a traffic jam in the rain. I had named her Midnight but after three days I changed it to Shadow.

Looks like someone is caught doing a very bad thing…getting on the table! And she knows it too…thats why she’s got that cute look on her face…the “I’m too cute for you to get upset” look.

Susan, I have a black cat named Shadow also… but my hubby has renamed him Ratsy due to his personality. He likes to sit on my chest and give me kitty shiatzu. My other black cat has orange eyes, and he’s Lucky since we rescued him on 060606.

Our 14 year old all-black kittie, Eben Scissorhands, had to be put to sleep yesterday. He had what we thought was a stye on his eyelid that turned out to be a very fast-growing cancerous tumor. The vet said he had only a few weeks to live and that the tumor would become increasingly painful and most likely start causing seizures. I let me 18 year old son make the decision, this was his cat since he was 4 years old. He stayed with him at the end and made the rest of us leave the room as Eben went to sleep. It is so strange to not hear Eben’s loud voice today and not see him sitting in his chair on the front porch. He had opposable thumbs, hence his name. He actually had SEVEN toes per paw, they looked like oven mitts. I know that he was met by Rocky, O’Riley and Scarlett at the Rainbow Bridge, they all left this earth in the last few years at ripe old ages of 16, 17 and 18. They were all truly family members. How bittersweet it is that today’s DK looks a lot like Eben did when we rescued him all those years ago.

Catwoman, I am so so sorry for your loss. It’s hard when they are not where they are suppose to be. I had to put my dog Amber down a week and half ago and there is a hole where she isn’t. Even with the four cats around. So I do understand where you are coming from. Take care and God Bless.

Catwoman, I too, am very sorry for the loss of Eben. It’s so hard to lose a family member. It sounds like your son is very mature and empathetic. Eben will never be forgotten.

She’s just lovely! I am sad today as somebody has taken my 2 baby black kittens, Maggie and Mae. She looks a lot like them. I just want to give her a big cuddle. Aren’t people awful?

This little one looks a whole lot like the kitten we found lost in our back yard in the spring. He was about four weeks old at that time; small enough to sit in a person’s hand. Though he’s grown a good deal bigger, he’s still adorable. Very energetic and curious.

Does Drucilla not have a tail, or is it somehow concealed in this picture? Such a cutie!

If Druscilla has a bobtail, she looks exact like Dottie, a kitten I found a few months ago. Constantly in action.
