Minou

MinouWe found Minou wandering on the streets. My fiancée immediately fell in love with this cutie, and I did too. The hard part will be making Pelmo — the resident Elder Cat Emperor — behave well with her.

Awwww, such a little cutie!

I’m glad when kitties get rescued, whether they’re cute little kitten-mushes like this one, or older ones - they’re all deserving of good homes - yay ^_^

I love the sort of… split, in colour on her face - makes her ever so purty ^_^

My husband came in just as I clicked on this link, took one look at that sweet little half-and-half face, and pronounced Minou “Yin-Yang Kitty.” Regardless, she’s a sweetie.

What a cutie - I have one that was found in my apartment parking lot with similar markings except she couldn’t decide whether to be tortie or calico, or tiger. Her name is Cayenne. Down here in Louisiana, Minou is Cajun for “Little Cat” and comes from the “Mew” sound they make! By the Way - hang on to that fiance’ of yours - he’s a good guy! :-)

As far as I know, Minou is also Canadian French for “Kitten.” I didn’t know it was the same in Cajun, but I suppose that only makes sense. :-) I think the name suits this little kitty perfectly!

Aww. . .I used to have a Minou, but he was all black. Minou is a typical cat name in French, sort of like our Fido for a dog. But if Minou is calico, she’s probably female, and therefore the French would call her Minette. Whatever you call her, she’s a cutie!

Ok I’m confused. All I did was crack A few jokes & I got sensurerd. Unlike several people on here who use profanity. All I did was refer to the human condition. Which I might add

was not as bad a somethings others said. And was a lot worse than what I said out of widley excepted humor.
I guess people can send all kinds of letters with tear jerking results But if I make light of the human condition Then I’m wrong. I guess I got it wrong that people was suppose to say more than Oh whata cutie.

Minou reminds me of Patches McGillicutty - also a beautiful calico with a split face (and butt!). Patches had a feline version of cerebral palsy - she would run across the room, but couldn’t stop on her own so she’d run into the wall, fall down, get up and say, OK - I’m OK - what’s the next game! She was with me for 17 years. Perhaps her loving and optimistic soul is reincarnated here.

I love calico’s and Torti’s. I have a 6 month old torti that also had to adapt to a 10 year old orange male who looks at her with all the interest of something he nasty his paw stepped in. She’s almost his size now and is a little terror to him because he won’t play with her and since he only bats her around a little she knows she can get away with it :P
