We found Minou wandering on the streets. My fiancée immediately fell in love with this cutie, and I did too. The hard part will be making Pelmo — the resident Elder Cat Emperor — behave well with her.

Oooh, I love her colouring!
i luv this cat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the balance with color and line of Minou and the artwork on the wall. A very adorable and artful photo! Good job Minou’s parents, and congratulations on your new kitty.
Awwww, such a little cutie!
I’m glad when kitties get rescued, whether they’re cute little kitten-mushes like this one, or older ones - they’re all deserving of good homes - yay ^_^
I love the sort of… split, in colour on her face - makes her ever so purty ^_^
what a cute name! minou, isn’t that “meow” in french? haha, very cute! thanks for rescuing her!
Oh how cute, and that half and half face is so perfect! She looks like she is interested in something. Hope your new kitty gets along with the senior one good luck.
Ohh! She’s perfect! Bless you for saving her.
I know he is so cute!!!!!!!!
Awwww! My grandma had a calico cat named Minou when I was growing up that looked a lot like this little sweetie! I think it just means like cute little cat in French.
I love that face!
My goodness! What a face!
What an adorable kitty. I love that this website can make me feel a little bit better no matter what I’m going through at the time.
What a sweetheart! Love her little face and those paws! A really great photo, no wonder your pix was chosen.
I hope things are going well with the introduction to Emperor.
A few days ago we had lots of advice posted re that subject, why don’t you take a look:

My husband came in just as I clicked on this link, took one look at that sweet little half-and-half face, and pronounced Minou “Yin-Yang Kitty.” Regardless, she’s a sweetie.
Ahem…..please tell your husband that would be:
*Yin-Yang FUZZ*
*Art Critic FUZZ*
what an absolutly adorable little soul!!!!
She’s a Rosina Wachtmeister cat!
OK, *Rosina Fuzz*
*Pi-Cat-so Fur!!!*

What a cutie - I have one that was found in my apartment parking lot with similar markings except she couldn’t decide whether to be tortie or calico, or tiger. Her name is Cayenne. Down here in Louisiana, Minou is Cajun for “Little Cat” and comes from the “Mew” sound they make! By the Way - hang on to that fiance’ of yours - he’s a good guy!
*Another Louisiana Cat-Fan!*
What can I say, but *Geaux Tigers!*
Y’all take care, and keep your paws clean.
If you give the youngster and the old ‘un simultaneous belly rub therapy they will learn to get on well together that much sooner
As far as I know, Minou is also Canadian French for “Kitten.” I didn’t know it was the same in Cajun, but I suppose that only makes sense.
I think the name suits this little kitty perfectly!
She’s precious. I’m glad you rescued her.
this pic would make a wonderful postcard. she is amazing!!
like a supermodel kitty!!!
so cute! *harlequin FUZZ!*
Love her coloring and dainty little paws.
Awww, she’s a doll, a little half-and-half mirror cat! So very sweet, how could the ECE possibly resist her?
What a cutie! Thanks for rescuing her.
OH! Shes so cute!I like cats, but that is a real sweetie! I love that pose and how she smiles.I like that cat.
She’s very cute! I like those dramatic, symetrical markings.
….ahemmmm…………………………………………….
*……”I’m in two minds”………..fuzZ………..*
Aww. . .I used to have a Minou, but he was all black. Minou is a typical cat name in French, sort of like our Fido for a dog. But if Minou is calico, she’s probably female, and therefore the French would call her Minette. Whatever you call her, she’s a cutie!
This is such an adorable kitten !
She’s an absolutely lovely bit of fuzz. I hope the Cat Emperor takes to her soon (how could they not?)
OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so CCCCCCCCCuuuuuuuuuute @_@
Oh, the darlingest, darlingest little Harlequin! ! ! Bless you for rescuing that little one! Love her always!
She looks like she is half butterscotch and half fudge. Okay I need to fix dinner when I see a kitten and it reminds me of food!

SPLIT SCREEN FUZZ
Ok I’m confused. All I did was crack A few jokes & I got sensurerd. Unlike several people on here who use profanity. All I did was refer to the human condition. Which I might add
was not as bad a somethings others said. And was a lot worse than what I said out of widley excepted humor.
I guess people can send all kinds of letters with tear jerking results But if I make light of the human condition Then I’m wrong. I guess I got it wrong that people was suppose to say more than Oh whata cutie.
what happened Chester? dont let someone else ruin this simple enjoyment for you ok
I THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE SMILE. WE ALL NEED TO.
We love your kitty and that interesting and unusual coloring! May the Lord bless you for rescuing this sweetie and bless Minou for just being who she is.
What an adorable calico. She looks just like my Cassie.
What a face and a lovely kitten !!
cute kitty! =3
No words can express how cute she is. I just smiled and said AW…….! You 2 are great for rescuing her. Have many happy years together.
Minou is gorgeous, the eyes and the colourings are beautiful, what a treasure you have found and i bet she purrs her little head off.
She is soooooo sweet!! My Border Collie has a split face too!!
What a picture-perfect kitty! Minou is adorable
Leaning Tower of Kitty.
Minou looks like she’s ready for the feline version of Fathom of the Opera. Very cute.
Minou reminds me of Patches McGillicutty - also a beautiful calico with a split face (and butt!). Patches had a feline version of cerebral palsy - she would run across the room, but couldn’t stop on her own so she’d run into the wall, fall down, get up and say, OK - I’m OK - what’s the next game! She was with me for 17 years. Perhaps her loving and optimistic soul is reincarnated here.
Calico cats rule! They represent the union of all cat races: tan, black and white.
I just wanted to say i think your kitty is beautiful and as i read thru your Comments it brought tears to my eyes. I love this site.
What a beautiful sun-and-moon face and a little bundle of love.
I love your analogy! I have to agree, she does look like she has a sun and moon face.
Oh she is so adorable and beautiful!
awww… just looking at her pic, i’ve fallen in love with her… she’s sooo adorable!!!
This is a bifurcated cat. With the emphasis on fur cat! Love it.
Love her markings. She is beautiful. Enjoy the new member of her family
