Roxy
The only sunny spot in the house comes through our kitchen skylight at about 11.45am. Unfortunatly, this day, the square patch of sunny floor was covered by an empty soda box waiting to go out with the trash. This didn’t stop Roxie, our 10 week old kitten. She hopped up on the box and made herself a nice warm bed. This is my favorite picture of her.54 Comments »

Katie Couric had the story on last night’s news. The group called the over worked Humane Society in Lebanon and they sent 300 cats and dogs. The cost will be $300,000 about $1,000 per animal.
Money well spent…..Better than spending it on weapons!

Just like my fosters back window in the morning front window in the evening, and grumpy when the sun goes behind a cloud.
True story
The other night I was dreaming that I was having a Heart attack, I was in emergency with lots of staff around me, giving me lots of injections to the heart. I woke up to a sort of half sleep, but the dream seemed to continue, and I kept feeling the weight of something massaging my ribs, and sticking needles into me. As I had not yet opened my eyes, I was starting to feel a bit panicky. Imagine my relief, when opening my eyes to find my latest foster kitten/cat ( 11 months old) trying to make herself comfortable by pummelling with her paws and sticking her claws into my chest.

I think it’s common to incorporate reality into our dreams. But your story is hilarious. I would have felt panicky too. Sounds like your foster kitty is very …ahem..resourceful. lol Hope they find a forever home soon!

It can’t get any cuter than this! A cute little lazy kitty laying on a box. How adorable! One of our cats, Crista, always lays on the clean laundry when its still warm.
My Gally does the same. He looks so cute all cuddled up in the warm laundery, I hate to move him.
