This is little Trouble. Her name at first was Einstien, because she does everything first; but trouble she is! She is the runt of the litter also but the cutest ever!
She is a sweetie, but don’t let that “runt” business fool you. My Tucker was also the runt of his litter. He also grew up to be 23 lbs at his top weight! He was anything but a runt.
I’m trying to get a Children’s book published about a kitty like tiny TROUBLE. The name of the book is: “Smitty, the Itty-Bitty, Persnickety Kitty”. Simon & Schuster loved it, but thought it was too young a read for their children’s book department. Any publisher’s out there who want a book published in defense of sweet, adorable little runts everywhere ???!!!!!

what a cutie!! I have a cat that is a/k/a Troubles-quite the curious cat. To watch her play is entertaining-its like she make up her own games and rules as she goes along !
I can see why the name change occurred. She looks like she’s a bundle of Trouble. Wrapped up in a cute kitteny package, of course, but trobule none the less. I LOVE how kittens tails don’t bend and just stick out like that.
Beautiful baby, looks a lot like my Booger when he was a baby. Yes the name Booger does fit him to a tee. I am sure you will get great pleasure from her.
The following link will take you to a HSUS petition to tell the National Marine Fisheries Service it must protect the right whale and their calves. There are only 300 left in the North Atlantic— they are dying due to ship collisions.
HAA!!! That’s funny that’s what myself and my friends call each other “the crazy cat ladies”!!!!! My one friend has 5, my other firend is taking trouble’s sister and brother, and I will have 4 , including Trouble, her brother , mom and other kitty!! How can you not???!!
Dee, that is a very good story and sooooo very true for me. except that my kitty is not a stray. I have had him since he was a kitten, well he is only 5 months old now. I have had his mom since she was a kitten. He is very spoiled, was not sure he was going to make it. But has a very mischeivious personality. I named him yeow-yeow, but should have named him Mr. Mischeif. He is standing on my keyboard as I am typing now. Then he will get on top of the monitor and bite my nose because he wants my attention. My kids cannot lay in the floor and do their homework, for he will lay on top of their school books that they are trying to work out of. Noone is supposed to do anything but love him. But we have made him that way and would not have it anyother way.
Susie–
That is so funny–biting your nose! And isn’t it the truth about them laying on top of books and papers? I have to make certain that I don’t leave any important papers on my coffee table, or there will be a bunch of FANG marks all over them when I get home!
I would have a stack of magazines on the coffee table Domino would use said pile for a pillow. He would knock the amount of mags off the table till the pile was to his liking. He would chew the bottom of the newpaper while I was reading it to get my attention. I wonder if that is how Readers Digest got its name?
So funny and so true! We can’t leave anything around with Trixie either. She even shredded a blank check my husband left on the nightstand! She’ll sit on top of a newspaper or magazine and tear strips off just for fun.
So true. I have two (Kombie and Bug) that were an abandoned litter, only 9 days old! Now, two years later they are over 13 pounds and healthy and active and in my bed at all hours! I love my strays!
Dee, i hope you know how much we miss you when you take a few days off. i could never find all the fun and interesting stuff that you come up with
thank you
trouble is a very apt name for all the cats i have had this one is very sweet also
HI All!
This little baby is so cute and I agree with Brandi Lee my Casseau was so tiny with a punk rock hair do when i first adopted him and his brother Bubo. I was told that Casseau was the runt of the litter and had a taste for Captain Harvey’s steak sub (yummy). Well that cute little runt (though on a much healthier diet is 21lbs and Bubo is 20lbs. By the way I love this site and all of the kittens here. Best wishes to all who love their little furry babies.

Many devoted pet owners talk to their pets on a regular basis. Dogs and cats love the sound of their owners’ voices, and hearing them, especially in warm conversational tones, is very soothing and comforting. By deliberately talking to our pets as we do whatever we’re doing is a way of teaching them a bit of our language. Most dogs and cats can pick up on the words that are really important to them, like “dinnertime.”
We generally talk to our pets in a gentle, friendly way when we’re just chatting about the day. We’re not concerned about communicating anything more than “I enjoy your company.” We’re not asking anything of them, nor expecting a response. Dogs and cats are generally relaxed during this kind of chat because they don’t have to understand our words; they just know they’re being included.
When we’re actually trying to get something across to our pets is when it gets more difficult. What we may not be so aware of is that since our pets have limited capacity to understand our speech, they are mostly attuned to our tone of voice. This is easy for us to understand when we put it in context of a foreign language. If someone speaks to you in Japanese, you can generally gather, by tone of voice, whether she is asking for help, angry with you, warning you of danger or trying to sell you something.
Dogs and cats come from much simpler worlds, where their mothers used very basic sounds for training. A subtle growl was a warning to behave or of pending danger. A short, high-pitched bark from mom dog or a trilling sound from mom cat meant, “Hey, I brought you some food!” Most mammals are naturally inclined to slow or stop when hearing a low sound and motivated to get active when hearing a high sound.
Notice when you talk to your pets in a higher voice, they perk up, become attentive, and may get excited. Talk to them in a low voice, slowly, and they may stop and wait cautiously to see what’s going to happen next. If you are trying to train your dog to sit and stay and are having no luck at it, it could be because you are saying a perky “sit!” or “stay!” But the tone of your voice is communicating, “let’s play!” Instead, say a low and drawn-out “si-i-i-t” and “staaaaay.”
Conversely, you may be saying “come” in a low, commanding voice, thinking that will compel her to obey. To your dog, your tone may be a cue to stay right where she is or even back away thinking she’s in trouble. But say “come!” in a higher pitched voice and it sounds like an engraved invitation with a liver snap inside.
Hey Dee, so glad to see you back!
Dogs aren’t the only one’s to do this our kit does it too, he’ll sit and stare at you while you’re eating, not trying to get anything, but that face…..guilt trip all the way!
First time poster. Long time lurker. I too have a “runt” of the litter. He was so tiny when I picked him up. He was only 1.6 pounds when he was 3 months old. He is now 7.6 pounds at 5months old! He as made up for lost time. I don’t know HOW big he will get, but he has outgrown his sister by a mile and still has big paws to fill.
Trouble is so cute and will be so worth all the little trouble she causes. Smooch!
Peggi–
I rescued a very tiny kitten when she was 3 months old (she and a 4 month old male kitten were abandoned in a bedroom when their owners were evicted from their apartment). She has just turned a year old and is still very tiny. She weighs 6 pounds. She’s not skinny, just a tiny little frame with tiny little paws that I squish all the time! (softly–haha) I don’t think she’ll get much bigger. I swear, she reminds me of the guinea pig I had when I was a kid—she’s not that much bigger and she has the same black and white fur.
Thanks for joining us.
Have anyone sent in there kitten? if u have how long did it take because i sent in my cat in April and then i sent it againt in august but my kitten Boots isent on yet please someone tell me how long or why hes not on

Some states and local communities have already engaged in disaster preparedness for animals, and with a federal law now in place, the future for you and your companion animal in a disaster is much brighter.

I LOVE TROUBLE FUZZ!
What a sweetie.
Beautiful M on her forehead. She looks so soft and squishable. She does look like she is pondering what to pounce though!
She’s beautiful, so soft and cuddly looking. Just look at those gorgeous eyes. I love Trouble! lol
Love the name! They really are lots of trouble at that age, but one can’t help but love them. My Chloe made me laugh even when she was breaking stuff.
Trouble is a very beautiful girl. Hope you have many happy years together.
