Linus is a talker, being half siamese. Unfortunately, I just read that talking back only makes then talk more. Yeow!

Ooooh, first post!
What GORGEOUS coloring this little guy has! I’d talk to him constantly, if he were mine, just so he’d talk back! What a cutie!
I’m Linus here me roarrrr!
What a brave cutie. Siamese kittens
are the best! They have great color
fur.
*Hear me roar FUZZ

(that last is what my roomie call’s his dad’s siamese)
Linus, you go ahead and chat away!
I’ve got a house full of Siamese, and wouldn’t have it any other way!
Linus The Lionhearted! What he says is right-listen and learn!
(Beautiful baby–look at those gorgeous eyes and big floofy ears!)
When i was on vacation after a huge rainstorm we found a little kitten that looked identicle to this kitten on the photo above. And he also talked a lot.
This kitty looks so demanding. That lion face and all. I hope it likes to cuddle.
Awwww so sweet, i love talkers
Oh, what a little lion he makes! My cat never talked so much, and has such a quiet meow that sometimes noone hears her, so she scratches on whatever chair you are sitting in to get your attention! By the way, for those who knew, I had to have her tested for feline HIV and she tested negative. Hopefully that will be the end of it now that she is indoors permenantly. She has adjusted pretty good. I still can’t brush her the way I wish I could, and I can’t trim her nails like they should be, but she seems quite happy otherwise!
I am so happy that the kitty is negative that is a huge positive for you both. Maybe in time you can brush and trim nails.
Susan that is great news! Hooray for another indoor kitty. As for trimming her nails. Try to wrap her in a towel. Also use the clipper that is especially for pets, much easier to use. I am sure in time she will mellow.
Linus I am in love with you! Come live with me and you can talk all you want…Perfectly gorgeous kitty. I think he is saying, hurry up and take my picture, can’t stay sitting here forever. :))
I love talking fuzz butts!
I used to call my husky boy a Siamoose. Or Thunderpaws. I love my Siamese and love the wailing chatter. They have quite the vocabulary. I luff Linus, he’s just precious.
Linus is a lady’s man !
*Meow Meow Meow Meow………… Translation : and I was talkiking to the dog, and he said……………
There are some FUNNY videos on Google of cats talking check it out you will laugh you head off.
Kisses to Linus, what cute little fuzzball!!
What a delicate coloring and intelligent countenance! Yes, I have a half-Siamese too, and having never had a Siamese before I can say they really *are* different from other cats, with many doglike qualities. Mine is seven months old and I’m still on the learning curve! Dara is all shiny black and looks just like an Oriental Shorthair. Linus looks like a Tabby Point. Oh, he’s lovely–let him talk away and love him always!
Linus is a very handsome kitten. Love his blue eyes and muted coloring. Snuggle, snuggle, kiss kiss!!
A friend of mine has a Siamese and tells me he always has something to say and always has to get the last word in.
Gotta love that cat attitude.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Isn’t he cute! Give in to his demands…and, yes let him have the last word!
what a cutie! love a talkative kitty!
Linus is a real heart breaker….and cute to boot….but where’s his blankie and how can he stick his thumb in his mouth if he’s always talking….lol……
What a cutie. I love talkers!
I have a half-siamese named Linus, too! We named him for Linus Van Pelt because his eyes are the same color as LVP’s blanket. And, boy, does he tawk! He prefers early morning chit-chat. As I type this, he’s sleeping on my lap.
Beautiful little kitty! I’ve grown up with siamese kitties my whole life, and I love to talk with them. Now that I am away at school, I make sure my parents put the cats on the phone. I miss them, they are so sweet, and always end up getting what they want
*”…talk to me, baby!” Fuzz*
I AN KITTY HEAR ME ROAR. WHAT AN ORNEY LOOKING BABY. KISSES LINUS
What a cutie! I love siamese kittens.

He kinda looks like he is laughing
Chey
Linus it sounds like you have the Siamese yowl. Go right ahead and tell all but I bet you are a lover kitty like my Casper. He is half Siamese too but he doesn’t have the yowl but he has the crossed eyes. Your eyes look like they go to the side. But you sure are a cutie.
Such a pretty little mewwy-face…I love when the camera catches them in mid-mew. And SUCH a pretty, pretty boy!!
My little one is going on 7 months, and he’s started talking a bit. It always worries me when I hear “MEW! MEW!” coming from another room, or while he’s looking at the wall at nothingness…I’m like, is something WRONG? It doesn’t help, of course, that he’s like an infant when it comes to putting things in his mouth…if it’s on or near the floor, Snick thinks it’s fair game for snacking. My most-common posture these days is bent over, with a finger in the kitten’s mouth, yelling “Drop it…DROP it!!!” I’m wondering if he’s malnourished or something….though he’s certainly a sleek and active little man, and the cuddliest cuddle-buddy ever!
Linus is the cat’s meow, demanding, outrageous and all cat! He is the great power kitty of the ancients–super fuzz
Fran
*Where’s my security blanket? FUZZ*
What a cutie he is.
Can someone help me? We haev been offered a kitten that we are thinking about taking, it is Tabby/Lynx mix..never heard off such. Does anyone know anything about them
Just a general cat question here: Why are people so awful to cats. AOL and the local newspapers are all full of warnings about keeping cats inside the week before Halloween. I don’t like toads for example, but I don’t want to do anything horrible to them either. This Halloween stuff is awful.
But dear Linus owner/guardian, a Siamese cat is a marvel — brilliant, bossy, beautiful and totally beguiling, enjoy every minute.
It’s not so much that people are awful to cats; it’s that they’re used in pagan rituals, which are especially popular at Halloween.
And Linus is a beauty!
Aisling, I’m sorry, but I know of no TRUE “pagan rituals” involving cats. No true pagan would EVER hurt an animal; those who would aren’t pagans, just people who have seen too many Maury Povich episodes and read too many Sunday-supplement articles.
If you’re thinking of Satanists, that’s an entirely different matter–but again, more likely than not what you’re hearing of are lowest-common-denominator people who draw their understanding of their “religion” through Jerry Springer, heavy-metal songs, and bad movies-of-the-week. (In fact, to verify this I actually went to the official website of the Church of Satan, and they have a specific RULE that says “don’t hurt 4-legged creatures unless you are attacked, or for food.”)
Anyone who tortures an animal–ESPECIALLY a cat, though that’s just my personal bias speaking!–has a world of hurt waiting for them, no matter WHAT they believe in.
(Off-topic, sorry, but when it comes to what people believe, I think it’s important to be accurate.)
I agree with you. Pagans usually have cats hanging around the neighborhood; i should know… Anyway, satanists or just ignorant people in general usually torture cats, thinking that they are familiars of witches… and just a side note, although they are portrayed as being ugly and mean with a big wart on their nose or chin, witches are often times quite nomal. take a look around you; you’d be surprised how many people keep it to themselves.
Linus is adorable..i love his name. The talking thing is true I have my own mewing machine to prove that talking to them as kittens has its disadvantages. But you can always caring on a meaningful conversation with him!
both of my cats are talkers, but neither are half *or* full siamese but i think that they are like that because in my family, we talk to everything like it is the thing to do
Question to cat lovers; Should indoor cats that have had all the baby shots, tested negative for feline HIV, continue to get booster shots every year? Vets have various opinions. The human that cares for us is conscious and wants to do the right thing. We dont like going to the vet, and it even could be dangerous.
signed with paw prints, Princess Mittens and her suave brother Matty
Sorry I’m late with this reply Lois.
My cats are all indoor cats and have their shots every year. I’m sort of anal about it, and I know some vets say it isn’t necessary. Just my $0.02
Linus is charming and manages to look fierce and regal for the camera. I personally like talkative cats, though perhaps not quite as much when sleeping.
I used to work with a vet who is a good friend of mine and I brought up that question to her. She answered me as a vet 1 and as a friend 2: (my cat are strictly indoor cats) Felv yes(kitty Luekema(PHONIC SPELLING IS A MUST) rabis yes if live in house. She also told me that she that she takes no sick unvacinated kitty in her clinic.
2 Felv every 2-3 year Rabis if you live an apt 2-3 year
do remember cats do get out from to time….dont you want them protced
I AM LINUS—HERE ME ROAR!!! WHAT A CUTIE!!
What a cutie pie! He looks like he’s singing!!! LOL
can i adopt linus i love the siamese and half other type he looks like my jake did as a baby now he is six and still handsome and linus will be too
Linus is simply adorable! Looks like one of the kittens I’m still trying to name. Am about to go and feed them now. Lots of talk and smooches for Linus!
What a sweety, i can believe he is a talker! What a beautiful coat, he looks so soft!
I love kittens/cats that talk. Linus is no exception. He’s such a cutie!
nice lttle kittin lips
My Koreetsa (phonic spelling for his Russian name) is half Saimese, and marked just like Linus. When he talks to me, he makes squeaking sounds, but when he is just about the house, or talking to his brother Tavareech (again Russian) he uses his full cat vocabulary.
Along with being talkers, Siamese are very affectionate. Long ago, I had a half-Siamese who would wait at the door for me to come home, leap on my shoulder, and literally kiss me! I hope you and Linus have a long and loving relationship!!
Linus is such a cutie. I have a talkative kitty too, that will just walk around the house meowing for no reason at all except probably to get attention. Your baby is beautiful.
I wish I had such a talkative, cute little baby!
Awww a talkative baby. Those are lots of fun. And yes, the more you talk to them the more they talk back. *hugs* to Linus.
Awwww, what a cutie! Hope he keeps the siamese blue eyes.
Oh, Linus, do tell! What a handsome boy.
We have a big boy who never stops talking!
It’s his way of saying he needs lots of attention because when you pick him up for a cuddle the purr motor starts. Of course he starts up again as soon as you set him down! Just the nature of the beast…
I have one of those too. He’s 20 pounds and he just yaps yaps yaps until I pick him up, and then he purrs like crazy. I have to carry him everywhere. He even sits in my arm while I brush my teeth. I don’t know why he thinks he has to be carried everywhere….wait, yes I do. I spoiled him.
I have 2 meezers and they are both talkers. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Even if I have taken to calling the younger one whiny butt.
Linus is a doll.
Linus isn’t just talking, he’s issuing orders!
What a handsome fellow. Wishing you much love and happiness with him!
My first experience with a cat was a Siamese cat named Fiesta. She was very talkative. I loved coming home from school and would go and feed her evening food to her. I would talk to her..hi Fiesta, how was your day, did you catch anything, do you want your food now? After each question she would meow back as if to give me an answer. I loved our “conversations”.
Siamese cats are so much fun if you like their sound. Some people do not, and therefore should consider that before getting one.
My cat Fiesta, was very affectionate as well. Slept either under the covers with my arm around her or she slept at the end of the bed. Very comforting cat. She was my Mom’s cat but she mostly slept with me because I fed her and spent more time with her.
Hey there, little meow baby!! May the Lord bless and keep you always.
Aw, he looks like my Constantine when he was a kitten, he’s 7 months old now and I’m still waiting for him to grow into his paws. He always greets me with a trilling meow when I get home from work.
Linus will be such a heart-breaker when he gets older.
Awwww…. thats so cute!!
My cat, Ashby, is a tabby siameese mix and she is a TALKER too! My fiancee comes home from work and she runs up and meow at him. He talks to her until she looses interest (anywhere from immediately to 5 whole minutes!) she responds and he asks her questions for quite some time
demon.
I am having trouble listening to my siamese 1\2 breed’s yowl. when he is insistent. he’s 12 weeks old and I have had him 12 days. He is making it less often now as he settles in .but I just don’t know what he wants. I ‘m giving him heaps of attention, food , stimulation. My nervous system ain’t what it used to be due to a health condition, so he may have to go. other than that, he is great. Lots of cuddles and responsiveness. Any comments ?(be nice please! I am trying here!)
