FIVE pounds? Your kitty must have still be growing. Unless she is the tiniest cat ever, that seems a little underweight for an adult cat. Is she an oriental? I have a 2 year old cat that came to us as a rescue - she is very small and is very healthy and slender at the 8 pound mark. I'd be skeptical - let that kitty have some food! When 5 pounds is half your body weight, that's a lot to lose! Good luck with your fur ball.

Wow - that's a gorgeous boy! Too bad he only loves him mommy and won't let his sister squeeze and snuggle with him! I have an 18 pound cat too, even though she has the TINIEST feet I've ever seen on a cat, she still turned out to be a great big beautiful girl with a double grey & white coat.
