*I think you missed a spot… No, other side.*

Two little kitties are always better than one. There is the rare occasion that one cat wants to stay “ONE CAT” but I don’t see it often. Lots of love and kisses to Fatso :( and Cat Little. Which one is which?

BTW, does anyone live in Maryland? My husband’s company is closing shop in CA and wants us to move. The office is in Baltimore so any suggestions for good neighborhoods (within 15 miles) is welcome. Fortunately, I have family outside DC and on the Eastern Shore.

Columbia is very nice, in a sort of sterile kind of way. It really depends on what you are looking for.

We currently live in Orange County, CA, a rather unique place. NOTHING like the shows “Laguna Beach”, or “The OC”, although there are some people here that are like that. I want a quiet community with a laid-back charm. I miss old places and buildings.

I live in Baltimore, welcome! Columbia, in Howard County is quite nice. It’s about 20 minutes outside the city and a “planned community.” The shopping is good, and there’s lots of green. Downsides are that it’s a little more expensive, and a little homogenous.

Hunt Valley is in northern Baltimore County. It feels rural but is close to everything. Again, a little expensive.

If I were house shopping, I’d be looking in Catonsville, which is right outside city limits to the west. Nice community feel, older homes, however all the shopping has to be done elsewhere since there’s almost none (the good side of that is that Catonsville is in the middle of all the good places to shop, so nowhere is too far away.)

Arbutus (SW) and White Marsh (East) have a bit of a blue collar feel to them, which is why some folks love living there, but also why some don’t.

Good Luck!

THANK YOU for the name of some wonderful sounding places. We live in a ‘cookie cutter’ community right now and my husband doesn’t like old buildings like I do. We’ll keep you posted on if/where we are going.

Covered-in-milk FUZZ! They don’t just lap up the milk, they jump in with both feet and end up covered in it. That makes grooming so much more “tasty” later on!

Would everyone please do me a favor and keep my baby Allie Katz in their thoughts and prayers? The electrician working on my house let her out last Weds and she hasnt been seen since. Ive gone door to door, hung up flyers, and have called the local shelters everyday. My daughter and I are worried sick about her and miss her so much. If anyone has any other suggestions about what to do Id appreciate hearing them.

thanks,

Maura,
Set out food and water, and try dragging your pillowcase or a T-shirt from your laundry around the house and up and down the street. It will put down your scent for Allie to find if she’s looking for home. We’ve had three cats run off over the years, and this has brought back two of them.

Good luck with her. I know it’s wrenching when a pet is missing.

My parents’ first kitty ran away, and they put an ad in the paper. The last day it ran, they got a call from a family that had found their cat. So I would try placing an ad in the paper, and maybe even on Craig’s list or another local website that may be popular to your area. Best of luck to you.
PS. good idea to pass out flyers and ask trick-or-treaters, since they will essentially be canvasing the neighborhood.

im so sorry to hear about your kitty getting out. the same thing happened to my moms cat when i lived at home. luckily he was hiding under the car and i heard him crying and brought him back in. i wanted to call the electritian and yell at him, but my mom told me no. i mean how hard it is to ask if its ok to let the cat out?

Identical twins = twice the love, the cuteness and the playfulness. They make me wish I had another kitten (but with three resident cats I’ll just have to get my kitten fix from this site.) Fatzo & Cat Little are just adorable!

Maura that sounds like a good plan. I wish you luck but better than that I have been praying all day. My bro’s cat went missing overnight he snuck out and I prayed very hard and Petey came running in this morning when they opened the inside garage door.
