Chardonnay
Chardonnay the kitten was found and cared for by Jake, the old, resident dog of a local vineyard in Paso Robles, Ca. Jake took care of Chardonnay and treated her like one of his own when she was born, tending to her fur and letting her snuggle with him during naptime. Chardonnay has found a permanent home at the vineyard now as well as a place in Jake’s heart.

Chardonnay is a white is in not? But sounds better than Merlot or Cabernet for a “red” cat. In any event, Chardonnay is purrfectly beautiful!

I am in seventh heaven I am kitty sitting for my brother and sister-in-law cat as they are in Charleston. Their youngest daughter gave birth tonight to a little girl she has a boy already.
I love the kisses I get from Petey first thing in the morning just have to drink coffee inbetween smooches.

This kitty reminds me of my former neighbor’s cat, Dominick. Dominick was a rascal and got into all sorts of mischief. If you chirup at him, he would come like a dog and play fetch with you.
Kittenmaster: I am very glad to see TDK is back up as I was having withdrawals from not seeing the kittens. The new look is very nice but I agree with Dee regarding making it so we can reply to a particular person’s posting.

My dog was rescued by my cat! She would climb in the box with the litter, then when they were older she litter box trained the whole bunch! I love stories like Chardonnay’s!

Right, I’m not sure whether we can do threaded comments, but I’ll look into it. We’re running on completely different software now so lots of the old features will be missing until I find replacements for the new version. The old version had the small drawback of being completely broken, though, so hopefully this is an improvement on that…
Dee, I don’t know what the limit is on how long comments can be, but if you’re cutting and pasting stuff from other sites it might fall foul of our spam filter, that’s all I can think of there.

Since Paso Robles wines (Central Coast wines in general) are becoming better known, which winery does Miss Chardonnay and Mr Jake reside? We live in Los Osos and frequently go to the North County to visit family. We would love to visit.

Which vineyard? We just returned from Paso Robles, and met quite a few vineyard dogs (Meridian’s were huge and sleepy, Rabbit Ridge’s was old and friendly) and one winery cat (a three-legged tabby basking in the sun outside Four Vines/Rotta)
