I also love her name. There was a cute song named “Lola”, I believe it was by the Kinks recorded in the 1960’s. Does anyone remember? Is anybody here old enough to remember? :))
I don’t know that one but I remember the song from the Broadway Show and then the movie “Damn Yankees” What ever Lola wants Lola gets. That little darling in the cart could get any and everything from me.
Yes I know this song, but I do not think it quite fits as this Lola is really a girl, not a boy pretending to be one. Besides this Lola is much more beautiful.
I sure remember the Kinks’ “Lola.” The song was considered quite “cutting edge” when it came out. Little Lola probably wants her human to take her shopping for cat treats! My 7 cats get really demanding about treats; they even paw my hand and, when I’m giving them treats, smack my hand and try to grab the bag if I’m not quick enough to feed them.
I remember Lola by the Kinks (and Yoda by Weird Al) and of course there’s Lola…she was a showgirl of Manilow’s Copacabana fame.
Yes I remember the song Lola, It started out her name was lola, but I can’t remember the rest of the song.

They are so cute when they are small. Lola la la la la Lola..I think that is how the song by the Kinks starts off. Was a very popular 80’s song. I wish Sylvester was small again but now he is a 15 month old cat. He has taken to pushing his water bowl around knocking all the water out of it. Frustrating. Guess I need to velcro the bowl to the wall to keep it in place. Any suggestions?
A maine coon I had liked to swat at his water bowl. I got a really heavy stoneware one and that kept him from knocking it over.
