Noodles
Noodles doesn’t think that anyone in the house should have any private time at all. He knows how to stay out of the way… but not too out of the way. He is afraid that when a door closes in front of him that he will never see his human again! I suggested we just leave the doors open until he adjusts… (whoops!)174 Comments »

Wait til we get our Hanes on you Fuzz
take it from experience, he will outgrow (kinda) this behavior but the door thing????????? NEVER!!! I have 4 and cant close any doors without somebody giving me a hard time about it!!
GOTTA LUV ‘EM
I have cut 2lb coffee can size holes in all the doors in my house. Problem solved.

My two torties never outgrew that sort of behaviour. Besides, why should I not wish to have either of them sitting where it was warm and comfy? And I could NEVER close a door without being made to regret it…
Some things should remain private in spite of the cute kitty!!
oh, soft porn on the kitten page….have we ‘arrived’ or what???…:)
That is so right! But it is so nice to be in a mans new underwear!!
Poor little guy - just wants to be noticed!!
OH NOODLES, YOU ARE SOOOO CUTE , BUT GET OUT OF THOSE SMELLY UNDIES! THANKS FOR THE DISGRESSION ON THE PHOTO.NO HIGHER PLEASE. hA!
That is one of the funniest cat photos I have ever seen! And I thought I had troubles when my cat pokes his paws under the door…
Can’t let you out of his sight! Cute but can a bit frustrating. I know I am still there. Alfie is a year old and he is still everywhere I go. His full name is Alfie Underfoot. Told him one day I will break my neck and then he will have no mama.
Enjoy the little love bug just try not trip over him
Thats exactly like my baby, she sits in my pants while im sitting on the loo.
My orange and white baby William also loves to sit in my pants when I am errr engaged in the bathroom. The funniest thing was when my dad came to cat sit once and he did it to him too!

Try 6 underfoot……on the desk, on the computer, on the sink,on the counter, in the bathtub, Alone, what is this concept?
Yep…my girls are the same. All closed doors need to be opened. Bathroom doors are not allowed to be closed at anytime. If the bathroom door is closed for any reason, a ruckus will ensue.
Yeah, mine are like that too. Bathroom door closed? You have got to be kidding me.
now that put the grin on my face that i needed today
At least the bathroom is clean!
My girls are constantly in and out while we are in there. Closed doors are a thing of the past.
Oh my goodness.
And I thought my kitties were….um, curious. (Though I did have a kitten try to share the seat with me once or twice…a nice loud FLUSH solved THAT problem straight away. He now gives the toilet the same sidelong look normally reserved for the vacuum cleaner and the going-to-the-vet cat carrier…)
not necessarily. mine think that is fascinating and I found timing was everything in keeping them from getting the paper before it was properly disappeared. They see it as their personal water trough, and I’ve gotten used to the seat having wet-paw spots. You got kids or pets, you don’t get ‘pristine’.
and hey…if they’re so happy with so little, what’s ‘with’ OUR odd-ball values???
Be careful about them drinking out of the toilet. My cat got a gastrointestinal bug called giardia. I couldn’t figure out how this indoor cat got that, but the vet said it could have come from drinking toilet water. Fortunately medicine cleared it right up.
My Ludmilla comes running when she hears the shower running. She has to be in the bathroom when I’m in there. When I shower I close the door, but she sits on the toilet to keep guard– I guess— while I get clean.
This pic is hilarious. Not only because of the kitty, but cause someone else came in to snap a photo. Too much!
Does Ludmilla do the Shower Dance?? Snick gets into the shower, walks along the rim of the tub, then lets his back legs down into the tub and crab-walks sideways toward the water til it just dampens his fur…then he hops out, licks the water-drops away, and repeats it a couple of times.
A little tabby! What a sweet face….
That is SO cute. Noodles is quite the character.
My cats have to be in the bathroom with me too. They cry if I don’t let them in - cry VERY loudly. My oldest actually gets in the shower with me and sits behind me while the water hits him. He doesn’t care at all.
hehehe….too funny! Noodles is obviously aware that her human will be seated for awhile and has made herself “at Home in the Hanes.” And to Noodles human parents……nice, clean bathroom you have there!
Yep, Sydney does the same thing to me. As soon as my butt hits the seat and my pants hit the floor, she climbs inside my pants and stares up at me. Then she fights me for the toilet paper. Who ever would have thought that the once simple task of peeing could become so complicated?
OMG, this left me crying with laughter.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha………
Okay, I’ve stopped laughing long enough to post. What an adorable picture. The kitten looks just like my Trixie. She doesn’t sit in your clothes but she will tear up the toilet paper just for fun.
I thought my two cats were bad! I know I can’t keep my doors closed. My cat is 3 and I haven’t had a private bathroom since.
What a great photo, thank you for sharing!
I can’t go to the bathroom without having my Ben tag along to watch the toilet flush (he was the daily kitten Oct.22) He is six months old now and is still fascinated by the toilet flushing! We have to keep his bathroom door propped open because he locked himself in one night and was traumatized. Noodles is sooo cute. this has to be the funniest photo on daily kitten yet. I LOVE kittens!!!
As to sharing the bathroom with your kitties…my girl Phoebe has now decided that she must drink my bath water…replete with bubbles…AND she prefers it if I cup some of the warm water in the palm of my hand and lift it up to her mouth as she sits on the side of the tub. Now before you lecture me about dirty or toxic bathwater…I’m NOT that dirty and the bubblebath liquid is very gentle and very diluted. Phoebe has chronic sinitus and her vet suggested we let her in while bathing or showering because the warm, moist air soothes her nasal passages. Phoebe initiated the tub water drinking ritual…and I oblige her with a few sips EVERY morning….it keeps her from slipping into the bathtub while trying to drink on her own — which isn’t a pleasant experience…I have the scars to prove it!
LOL, My Gracie likes to drink bathwater too. Especially if I am using bath salts or that oatmeal stuff. She also loves to sit on the edge of the tub and smell the fragrance of bubble bath. Thierry likes to catch the drips from the tub faucet and Emma stays as far away from water as possible!
Nothing wrong with soap in the mouth, my mom did it all the time, it just a natural laxative.
I was wondered if perhaps the laxative effect might be an added bonus….warm water and soap…I’m surprised she doesn’t “go” right in the bathroom! LOL
That is a riot! Wish my bathroom were that clean.
Now that you mention it, you’re right that IS a clean bathroom. Much nicer than mine.
You’re right–suspiciously clean. Perhaps cleaned for the occasion? I would suggest (or rather hope) that the gentleman in the picture is actually fully clothed above the knees and that the underwear shown came straight out of the dresser drawer. I find this thought strangely comforting. . .
Priceless picture, though. Well worth the trouble of staging.
adorable…….Noodles is like my Sam and Miss BooBoo Kitty:)
Bahaha! Priceless pic and adorable tabby kitty!
Gross! Who wants to see that?
I agree. I’m a fan of TDK, but this one I didn’t like.
Seriously. What the?
I feel so sorry for the guy on john man. Sorry dude.
I agree. What is offensive is seeing someone doing their “business” with the cat in the underwear. There a ton more adorable pictures of cats in bathrooms then seeing them sit in a man’s underwear. Some men aren’t known for cleaning themselves after using the toilet. Therefore, a cat in the underwear is considered gross.
I prefer to think that, while this may actually happen (in our house, there is certainly no such thing as a closed door! lol), it is a “staged” photo. As in, well, they do x, and it’s silly/funny/adorable, so to take a photo of it, I’ll keep something else on, but let’s put some boxers around my ankles while I pose for a minute on the toilet, and give everyone a good laugh. It really is a cute photo, and personally I like to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to personal cleanliness. I really don’t see anything to be offended by. I mean, they did cut it so that nothing could be assertained than it’s most likely a man, and that their bathroom floor is quite clean.
I put in little kitty doors next to all of the doors in the house that mu cats go through. They have the same casing as the regular doors, and a marble threshold or them No more loud meows at night.
Wow — customizing your home for your kitties! I’m impressed, Jim. How cool! My cats do their own customization of my home and possessions…and I don’t really see it as an improvement!
How cute (and easy) are these Christmas cookies to make with your kids and grandkids?!

Really cute, but would be more fun and taste better making your own dough and frosting. Add no preservatives.
**A Cat’s Twelve Days of Christmas**
On the twelfth day of Christmas my human gave to me:
Twelve bags of catnip,
Eleven tasty cat treats,
Ten ornaments hanging,
Nine wads of tissue,
Eight peacock feathers,
Seven stolen Q-tips,
Six feathered balls,
Five MILK JUG RINGS!
Four munchy house plants,
Three running faucets,
Two fuzzy mousies,
And a hamste-e-er in a plastic ball !
HAHAHAHA…I sang this to the office and they loved it!!
Rosie please tell me where SA is. Gonna do another survey
San Antonio, TX- Really I live outside the Big Tony, in a small town- Somerset, but I work in SA and that is from where I “contribute.”
Hi Dee, I liked the Cat’s 12 days of Christmas. That was cute. That would go good with my singing cat wreath! I have a christmas wreath of three kitties and they sing christmas carols!
That’s a riot, Dee! I would substitute Eight peacock feathers for Eight pheasant feathers, though. My brother used to hunt these birds and he would always bring me “fresh” pheasant feathers. I had two sister meezers at the time and they would go NUTS over these feathers!
Q. Can cats see in the dark?
A. Yes, but they have trouble holding the flashlight!
more like they’re too busy chasing the light!!
This is too funny! My fuzz has to wait out side the door when I am “indisposed”. He gets his paws under the door and tries to grab at my pants. Once my DH had to detach him as he has pulled them halfway under the door into the hallway! I usually wad a piece of TP and put it near the door so he can play. He gets pretty viscious with it, rolling around on the floor and banging into the door. So cute!
My Bug “steals” dirty socks from the hamper or from under the door. Every once in a while I’ll see him running through the house dragging “Daddy’s” tube socks!
…At least he doesn’t drag your bra from the hamper and lay it proudly at your (male)guest’s feet like my Corkey did one time! (Insert multiple blushes here.)
My sympathies! It would crack me up though!
What a funny story!
If I hadn’t noticed that the floor tile is completely different, I would have sworn that this is a picture of my husband and our J.J. when she was a kitten. She still hasn’t outgrown the closed door thing, but mostly when it’s my husband behind it. Must be an “alpha male” thing.
I’m curious, is Jim Quinones the same from network news?
John Quinones works with ABC–maybe Jim is his brother–haha!
Not too crazy about seeing a bathroom picture like this one. There has to better ones to view than this one.
Beware of skid marks, lit’ kitty!!!!
My son had to do major repairs on his bathroom door because the cats always came in while someone was showering, thereby leaving the door wide open to let in the cold air. Also they insisted on jumping into the tub to lick your legs dry as soon as you turned off the water!
Noodles is too cute. My late cat Southpaw used to have to be in the bathroom at all times. He sat on the back of the toilet while I was in the shower and then promptly licked my toes when I was finished. He never missed a day. As for the people who can’t see the humor in this picture, I’m sad for you. I hope you don’t take life too seriously.
I’ve found that my girls are usually looking for fresh, running water, and they lick my hands and feet when I’m just out of the shower because they want the fresh water. Putting in one of those running fountains just for my cats to drink out of really has gone a long way to satisfy their desire for fresh water.
I agree Andi…my kitties love it. It encourages them to drink and kitties need lots of water especially if they eat dry kibble.
