Here is Charlie clutching his favorite “toy”… a hairball. One day I brushed all four cats and pulled all the hair out of the brush and rolled it between my palms and threw it in the yard. Charlie glommed on to it and carries it with him everywhere. He puts it in the food bowl when he eats then takes it with him to his bed, plays with it all the time and occasionally loses it. So I brush the cats again and make him a new one. We call it “mini-me” and it’s quite hilarious.

That is hilarious. My cats, too, show an inordinate interest in the hair I remove from them. However, they want to eat it, which kinda defeats the purpose …
Mine just sniff at the hair. It’s the brush they both try to eat.

My cats drop their toys in their food as well.. But so far they don’t play with hairballs… That is funny!

That is the cutiest thing!!! It reminds me of my kitty and his little blue mice toys. He brings them everywhere! But He drops them in his water not his food.
