I have to agree! My Tortie, Monkey literaly bounces off the walls. Her fav thing to do: jump onto the shade of my floor lamp. After replacing it 3 times I now just sorta prop it over the bulb. Torties definitley are a little bit crazy!
my goodness. yes my coworker’s torbie is compleatly mad too. she gives people random glared and meows like she is posessed one second then the next second she will cuddle up to you. Weirder still she does it in reverce starting with being loving then meows like she is posessed lol.
What a beauty! Mine does the same thing, and she’s an orange marmalade! She likes to jump up the walls!! Cats are just plain fun, and an enormous source of amusement!
She may attack everything, but if you can stay mad at her for it for longer than 30-seconds you’d be doing better than most of the posters here Hug her for us, and enjoy your holidays.
It will be quiet next week. I’ll be in lurk mode..checking in on the kittens at odd times when I can get a turn on the computer at the in-laws. CatRancher, hug all those beautiful Maine Coons for me.
I’ll be checking in from time to time from home, too. I will hug the Maine Cooners for you! I’ll have a house full of family, so I’ve loaded up on kitty treats and just pray that Phaedra doesn’t decide to poop in the bathroom sink like she did last time I had a house full of guests! There’s no guessing with cats…they have their ways of letting you know when it’s time for company to go! LOL…luckily it was another cat owner/lover that discovered the “leavings” and promptly cleaned up the mess without announcing it to the other guests! Geez….
Whenever my cat Shadow that I had when I was a teenager would get in a snit she would poop over the bathtub drain. She was so ladylike even when being ornery. All I had to do was pick it up put it in the toilet and do a fast tub scrub.

My furry nephew arrived this afternoon I am in seventh heaven. I bought him a pop up house on the order of those pop up hampers. I hope he likes it I have his plastic bag out so he can lounge on it besides the end of my bed.

Jumping and attacking big things (what isn’t bigger than a kitten) sounds like a scared, but brave little kitty. Also sounds like TLC will cure this, as well as age. At our house, we’ve had kittens who actually climbed up the wall paper or the drapes. That’s what makes them fun. It doesn’t last forever.
Tinky says, “Kiss me Kiss me Kiss me now!” (I do kiss my kitties on the lips when they come looking for a smooch.) They stick their little faces up at me and I can’t resist. I always say, “Hi sweetie” and then give them a tiny peck. They have come to expect that from me. My friends think I am goofy and they laugh but that’s OK. Sometimes i kiss people too.
You guys always think the color or breed of TDK makes that particular brand of kitty especially unique but I beg to differ. Absolutely every kitty in creation is special and unique, no matter what color or kind. They are all and every one, extraordinary. creatures.
Oh so darling face! I love my tortie “Yow” who named herself. She can switch from a purr to a growl and hiss then back to a purr in seconds,she’d a bit wacko but I love her silly cat.
