This is Boone. His favorite place to nap is in the bathroom sink. He won’t leave even if you turn the water on. He just starts lapping up the water. He also loves to splash around the water in his water bowl. He must have a little dog in him!

What a sweet innocent face. My first kitty Shadow liked to sleep in the sink in the summer as it was cooler. Pretty much he could sleep anywhere in my house.
I forgot Domino would also splash his paw in his water bowl and then lick the water from it instead of sticking his face in the bowl. Shadow would dip her paw in her food and lick it off. I would come home from work and she would have a mound of dried food hardened on her nose. She disliked me washing it off so started eating from her paw. Cats are amazing creatures on they adapt to any situation.
Mittens has the same habits as Domino and Shadow. She uses paw dipping for water and food from a dish. When we turn on the faucet, Mittens will put her cheek in the stream of water, adjust her head just right and make a little ’spout’ flow in front of her mouth so she could lick the water. Kinda like her own water fountain. When she would shake the water off her cheek there would be little water drops on her face and paws. I would say she is beautiful wearing her water diamonds.

Pappy would also dip her paw into the water. I always thought she did that because she didn’t like her whiskers touching the edge of the water bowl. She had VERY long whiskers.
My Frankie loves our bathroom sink too, but now he takes up the whole sink. He is a 16 pounder now, and he is only 1 1/2 years old. Your picture is precious, as I am sure your Boone is too.
I think sink sleeping is a Maine Coon tendency. My parents have one that loves to sleep in the sink and lap up the drips that hit his fur. I also have a Maine Coon that drinks water with is paw. What a bunch of characters!
Very cute, but I would suggest a trip to the vet’s to get the little dog removed. My son had a little dog in him as well, and it kept us up all night with the barking.
My 15 pound adult male cat likes to sleep in sinks, too. And he also doesn’t get out immediately when I turn on the water. But I think it’s because he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.
I’m glad you said that. I didn’t have the guts. There was an overweight, doorstop-type larger cat at a B&B we stayed at who couldn’t heave himself up on the toilet to drink, so he stood up, braced one front foot, and dipped with the other. Pretty resourceful fellow. The owner said he ‘never drinks from the toilet’. Right. Us & ‘Hershey’ know better!!
Wow, he took my breath away, what a beautiful kitten! My cat also likes the water. We call her the drunken cat, she will lay on the floor by the water bowl and hang off the side of it, and lick the water off her paws after she has dapped them in the bowl. It’s pretty funny to watch!!
Anyway, Boone is gorgeous I’d love to have one just like him!!
my friend’s 2 Siamese used to go’ skiing’ in her bathtub at night until their racket drove her crazy; now there’s a timber cover over the bath which looks awful but she does get to sleep until early morning …
little Boone - you’re a sweetheart …
grow big & strong & healthy - and stay in your sink even when you don’t fit in it anymore
Don’t you think they had fuzzbutts in mind when they invented round bathroom sinks? I always thought that. If I were going to invent something, it would have to be suitible for cat-life or it wouldn’t be worth owing.
So when Boone grows into his ears, he will be a perfact fit.
His big round eyes seem to say, “I hope you don’t think this place has anything to do with humans. Get away and quit trying to use things that are not yours! You cannot fit in here! What could you be thinking??” (Silly humans)
Hmm, it looks it’s bath time, I mean bed time for Boone. I had a cat that just loved drinking out of the faucet, though her favorite spot to sit was on a towel left on the toilet seat. So, I called her Queen Ophelia, sitting on her throne.
Boone is adorable! Many cats like water, as long as they don’t get completely soaked, and consequently cold. It is the need to keep warm that makes cats in non-tropical climates cautious around water. And many cats like to fish, (as many goldfish can attest) largely for amusement value, to keep a paw in, so to speak. To divert them from my koi, I bought my cats a table fountain to play with.
that is the sweetist kitty ive ever seen to cute! he must have a little dog in him, one of my cats, pinky, likes to drink out of the toilet, just like a dog lol i wish she would sleep in the sink that would cute.
I’ve known several cats that splash in the water dish with a paw, throwing water all over the floor. I call it “digging for fish”. One of our boys has big six-toed fuzzy feet and likes to drink by sticking his foot in the running water and licking it off. Mysterious creatures… and I’m sure they think the same of us.
Looks like someone was naughty enough to wake up that cutie.
I know many kitties who enjoy playing with water. So carry on, Boone! Some day you will catch a nice juicy fish there!
Boone is so gorgous. I don’t know where all these cute kitties are coming from. My cat, Princess, joins me each morning in the bathroom while I get ready for work. She loves to get a drink from the faucet too. If I don’t set the stream of water just so, I will get the dirtiest look from her if she gets wet.
Also my little Molly is a water lover….despite of all the rumors about bad relationships between kittens and water! She usually stands beside the bathtub while I’m taking a shower and one day she even jumped in the water just to feel how it was like! Our little dear ones can surprise us every day it seems1
Boone is a sweetie…I love his coloring and the tufts of hair sticking from his ears. Reminds me of my Maine Coon cats! They love the water, too. CAT-FISHING FUZZ!
Cats are experts at finding the best napping places. My parents had a cat who liked to sleep in the neighbors’ decorative fountain (which never had any water in it). It was his nice little cradle in the shade. Until one day he tipped it over and broke it. Quite embarrasing.
Hey Zarina, found your card among lots of stuff. Decided to see if the URL was still working. You know your cats really look like YOU!!! FUN STUFF, if they only knew how much you loved them….

Best of luck to you.
thats a good one
Mr. Boone, you have fellow faucet-lickin’ kin in California. You’re precious and mighty handsome.
What beautiful coloring on this fuzzy little boy, and lovely green eyes!
And you KNOW he’s still going to be cramming himself in that sink for a nap when he’s a bit older and 10 or 15 pounds heavier, lol!
Totally adorable, love the way they can look cosy and comfy anywhere.
There is another website you should submit this picture.

He’s got a sweet fuzzy face… Soon the mound of fur called Boone will fill the entire sink…
aww that is the cutest thing in the whole entire world other than my cat
He is absolutely adorable!! Cats just love the sink, you know they think we put them there just for them.
Don’t we?
Let’s be honest, Cats think we put everything there just for them??
Boone!!
Aren’t cats great?! They know how to find the cool, comfy spots in summer and the warm, cozy places in winter. Boone, you are a sweetheart!
Boone, your ears are mighty and beautifully entufted. Hurrah!
Boone is a very cute litte kit. His fur looks really soft. Love his wild ear fur!
Water Cat FUZZ
Hopefully Boone will grow into his ears. LOL
Boone is so cute. Love his coloring, markings and the fluffy fur! He looks like he’ll grow up to be a big boy. So sweet.
I’m glad you said that.

Splish Splash Fuzz!
I Have 1 that used to be the same way, and 1 that thinks faucet water is the only water worth drinking. Her fountain waterer is for her toys

Kind of looks like your hiding Boon. It’s O.K. to have a little dog in you.
Hmm, it looks it’s bath time, I mean bed time for Boone. I had a cat that just loved drinking out of the faucet, though her favorite spot to sit was on a towel left on the toilet seat. So, I called her Queen Ophelia, sitting on her throne.
JCL
Bath time?
Y’all take care, and clean your paws before dinner!
DID YOU NAME HIM AFTER BOONE ON LOST, WHAT A HUNK! SO IS YOUR BOONE!

Very handsome boy! I have one that loves the sink as well. Must be the tiger in them. LOL
awwwwww he’s sooooooo cute!! surprisingly many cats like water and sinks…he’s so fuzzy and sweet looking!
Look at those ears! Is he watching the radar or something?
None of my cats sleep in the sink, but Clio likes to help me brush my teeth — have to be very careful to avoid getting toothpaste on her.

Clio does that — we usually refer to the result as “Lake Clio”.
Scratch likes to smack the water around first before dipping and licking. She creates quite the mess.
too cute!

So cute little boy! =^_^=

“SHOW ME ANOTHER CAT IN A SINK!!!”
How fuzzishly cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

Boone is a beautiful little fellow!
look at those big kitty eyes,
I have never seen a kitty thet likes water!!!
What a cutie! my kitty used to sleep in the sink when she was smaller. I love the little face!

The look on his face makes me think that he’s not napping just now, but lying in wait for someone to pounce upon!
And they say that cats do not like water boy were they wrong. Sounds like he would not protest to a bath when and if you had to give him one.
What a cutie patutie!
