Keira is a 10 week old brown and grey tabby. She was the runt of her litter but she acts as big as a human. She is as sweet as pie at times, but we’ve given her the name P.K. (Psycho Keira) for her crazy moments.

Thanks Teresa, the good news is that we love Cancun the bad news we caught the flu and have been in bed slowly we are getting better (GET A FLU SHOT ITS WORTH IT) Yes my fuzzbutts were plenty hacked off at us when we got home they had forgotten they were mad, and just flung themselves at us, now I am monitered for luggage or any inclination of leaving the house ….LOL

I am happy that you are back but sad that you are sick. I do get a flu shot every year because of being diabetic etc. and I am a devout coward when it comes to shot but it is too important.
My boys and now Petey know something is up when I start putting on makeup and jewelry they know I am going out. Petey even lies in front of the door to try and keep me home! Jeez one day a week I get out to church and grocery shopping big time social butterfly!
Stay warm and drink plenty of fluids oj with a shot of vodka counts I think!

Teen Dies Trying to Save Cats From Fire

CAMBRIDGE, Ill. - A teenager is being hailed as a hero for saving his aunt from a fire at their house, but he lost his own life when he went back into the burning building to search for the family’s two cats, authorities say.
Seth A. DeShane, 14, was pronounced dead late Thursday at the family home, which was destroyed in the fire.
“He really saved his aunt,” said the Rev. Kris Dietzen, pastor at Cambridge Lutheran Church. “He woke his aunt up and told her the Christmas tree was on fire.
“He got her out of the house. She thought he (Seth) was behind her, but he went back inside.”
Dietzen said that when Seth’s aunt realized the boy had gone back inside, she tried to get back in herself, but by then the smoke was so thick and the fire so intense, she had to leave the house.
“She ran to a neighbor’s farm, and they proceeded to call 911,” Dietzen said.
The fire is being blamed on malfunctioning lights on the Christmas tree on the first floor, Chief Edward Bole of the Cambridge Fire Department said. The front half of the two-story home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Cambridge, Illinois is not too far from where I live in Bettendorf, Iowa. Seth was a hero, unfortunately his cats perished in the fire. So sad! I read his obituary in yesterday’s paper. Just an all around good kid!

Fuzzes that size purr like moter cycles, run like the wind and demolish everything in their path. Shoe laces have been a long-time favorite of mini-fuzzes.

I don’t think Keira has evil eyes, just mischiefous eyes. Her coloring is pretty. Looks like grey and orange tabby. Looks like she just got done having fun with the tennis shoes. Cute
oh! le pauvre lion! It probably helps that he’s “all gums” and can kiss his benefactress face forward. (I kheed!). No, it’s awful that exotic animals get maimed, for whatever “reason” by humans. The wildcat without front paws makes me wanna cry. Ya just don’t DO that to wildlife!
Pretty Kiera…with the devilish eyes! I’m sure she kills alot of shoe strings! All of our shoestrings have the ends chewed up! Trying to tie them proves frustrating with paws and claws trying to get them!
Look at that bad little girl tabby. I have dealt with bad little tabby girls. The only way to keep them in line is to give them what they want, such as lots of toys and treats and love. As long as humans bow down to them life with a bad little tabby girls will be wonderful.
Cute little button! Every cat I have ever had tried to walk off with my husband’s shoelaces, even if still attached to heavy shoes. Why we have never figured out.

The sad part of the article is two fold, one the boy dies, secondly, there’s no mention of the cats, did they survive> Let’s hope they did.
