Boomer
This is Boomer the day we brought him home at about seven weeks old. He loved to hide out in my daughter’s closet and sit on her dollhouse porch peeking out at us. We named him Boomer because he used to bounce around like a baby kangaroo. 2 1/2 years later he still has us and his big doggie “sister” wrapped around his little paw.

How are you doing? Hope your cold is better. I’m so glad Bo has found a home and did I hear right, he had successful surgery on his leg? He got to keep his leg. I’m happy for him. I heard from Ivory bill, earlier. He posted on Emmy lou’s site. I read Dee’s post yesterday, later in the day, where she was tempting us with desserts! lol I guess we can just eat smaller portions!
Hi Renee in Arkansas, Bo did have a successful surgery. The vet said that it went very well, and I am actually waiting to hear back from Mrs.Ginger (the lady who owns the rescue) on whether or not Bo is coming home today or not. I sure hope he comes back soon, i’m starting to miss my snuggle buddy!

Thanks for asking Renee. I don’t think what I have is a cold. I think it’s more like sinus problems. As long as it’s not allergies to my kitties, it’s cool
I know this sounds gross but I was told if the mucus is yellow it is sinus infection if it is green it is a cold.

Is Boomer, by any chance, deaf? A large percentage of white cats with blue eyes are born deaf. I have a white cat with one blue eye and one yellow and she is deaf..She is a very happy 19 year old gal, though. I was just curious.

Actually, growing up we had 3 cats live past 15, and I think one was 19 or 20 when we had him put down. Good genes and good care can go a long way.
Our grey cat Killer lived to be 17……..sometimes I swear I feel him around my ankle, or hear his meow, So its like he is still here……
I had a siamese flame point/mix tabby who was white with blue eyes and he was not deaf. And he lived to be 18 (only had to be put down because he had a stroke). Boomer looks like baby Charley! (poor Charley, I miss him so much)
No, he’s not deaf. He actually has very good hearing. I can click my tongue for him at one of the house and he comes running from the other end… Maybe because he has some ginger coloring on him now he isn’t affected by whatever seems to be the problem with white kitties?? He now has light carmel/ginger spots on his back…
Hi all we had a white cat once and it wasnt deaf depends on the breed of cats they come from I guess but she was called princess she finally got old and passed away she was 15 years old we sure miss her but adbopted another cat from the desert named Deserie shes notw a year and 1/2 we found her abanonded at a friends house when we were visiting no one knew where she came from so we took her home shes a gray and white girl and a real sweetheart her nicknames Desi

Boomer is so adorable. I have a friend who collects dollhouses & her daughter’s cat, Gus, used to hide out in the porches whenever he visited. I’m wondering what kind of big doggie sister Boomer controls.

Snowball fuzz with beautiful blue eyes. My cat Sylvester loves to hang out in my walk in closet also. He and I sometimes will sit in their when I feel like the world is too much. I don’t make a habit of that though.

Thank you so much Teresa usually I can take the pain but this week it is just getting me down. That and the fact that on 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night is just not enough. I am definetly going to try to go to mass tomorrow I had to miss last Sunday and that is always the highlight of my week. Thank you again for your kind thoughts it sure helps.

thanks for the ideas about getting my babies back,just found out she adopted them out to other families allready,but at least i found an older version of my tux baby,and as providence would have it his name is the same as my baby’s,speaking of babies that little guy is sooo cute.i also have a solid white cat but he only has one blue eye and one gold eye.
