Moti and Heera
Location: Nadi, Fiji.
These are my cute new kittens: Moti and Heera. Heera is the naughty and inquisitive one and woke up as soon as he heard the camera flash! On the other hand Moti is the calm and innocent one who just kept on dozing! They are both brothers but fight like they are enemies! They were dumped at the SPCA without their mother when they were less than three weeks old. There were three kittens in total, we fell in love with these two and the last one found a good home as well!260 Comments »

Good Morning TDK’ers. I hope that all is well with you and your clocks. (both biological and mechanical)
These two fuzz buts are so cute! Slips one into backpack, leaves the other for Huddy’s Mama…
I want the one in the back.
But I want them BOTH!!
*stomps feet and walks away*
Um, exscuse me I decided that I am the official late night backpack checker. I need a couple of kitties to steal to help me unwind from work.
Moti likes to raise the dickens
While Heera’s pace barely quickens.
The only sad part about my day
Is that they are on an island, far away.
We could always visit them! Fiji is rather nice (or so I hear)
I love it!
A Daily Kitten World Grand Tour
No new day eould be a bore!
Each arrival; each new place
Another gorgeous kitten face!
Oops! The tired poet was mistaken
And hopes no offense was taken
For today’s kitties behaviors were reversed
(Don’t try to write while tired, the old man cursed. )
You are so cute, Ivory Bill!
I am a grouchy and lumpy bald old man
Who spends his time sitting on his can
There is nothing cute about it
If you knew me you wouldn’t doubt it.
Dr Suess Reincarnated……….Pray tell me you dont converse in verse LOL
Science Diet hits the spot
25 fuzzbutts that’s a lot
Whole bunches of other babies too
The Daily Kitten is the blog for you!
Now that’s on the spot! All hail Poet Laureate Ivory Bill!
Bravo
Bill’s poems do add into the charm of this site! Cute kitts and cute poems!
Bravo Ivory Bill!
Ivory Bill - TDK poet laureate…thank you for the gift of your poems!
Ivory Bill, you’re wonderful! Bald, grouchy, old, whatever, doesn’t matter!
Had to read that a second time…thought I saw “likes to raise the chickens”…Time to clean the glasses and forget about that chicken-eating cow in India…ewwww.
Maybe Chik-Filet could use that cow as its mascot.
You know - they have the cartoon of the cow holding a sign saying “Eat more chicken”
*looks arounds and slips away with an evil grin*
Evil grin pretty much covers it! Dude, you scare me. :-}
Yea, but I bet you laughed
Of course! Silly boy!
i read chicken the first time to! i think i just need more coffee…
WOW ! Look at those ears! What cuties they are.
What a lovely batch of brothers, I always think a solitary kitty needs a pal, they’ll be ever so entertaining. My idea of mental health care is a six pack of kittens…
Go easy on those six-packs, Karin, they can be addicting!!!
Hi Karin, it would be appreciated if you could put where you are from so as to not confuse the folks with you and I. Thank you.
can you hear me now ????
Double your pleasure, double your fun,
with DOUBLEFUZZ Orange Gum!
Oh my, what cutie patoties. I love the one in the back hugging his brother’s tail while he snoozes.
I was thinking they can’t really be enemies if one can wrap his paws around the other one’s tail like that !!!
I caught my two girls sleeping in a VERY compromising position yesterday and about keeled over laughing. Of course, they woke up before I could find the camera.
Moti and Heera what a fine pair of fruit bats you are
Look at those squishable pink paws!
Dee did yoou read Friday’s answer to your inquiry? If not here is my addy again: LOVEANDJOY55 AT YAHOO DOT COM
Thanks, Susan!
…the PTP’s……
Whoops—sorry, Rosie—the PTP’s…and the PPP’s!
Help! I swear you ar talking in code and I have never been given the list. What the heck is PPP’s?
haha! Susan–puffy toe pads and puffy paw pads.
How sweet and CUTE!!!! I don’t know how I’m going to get used to this time change thing. grrr!
Who needs a security blankie when a nice fuzzy tail will do just fine!
How great that you were able to rescue those two! Inspite of their “fighting” you can tell they love each other. Don’t know if I’ll let Huddy’s Mama have the one for the backpack–I think it’s MY turn—**Puts the one in front in my TOTE bag–lined with fresh catnip, and sneaks out the door**!!
No kitties in the backpack for me today. Maybe I’ll go home and put Huddy in it.
I think Huddy would like that very much. My fuzz butts love it when I give them attention. Give him lots of luv for me and my kitties.
Whenever I travel and have my suitcase on my bed, he climbs in until I shoo him away.
The last time I left he cried so much I just wound up taking him with me.
He goes for his checkup on Saturday. I KNOW they are going to tell me he needs to lose weight, but I don’t know how that’s gonna happen with his 2 greedy brothers around.
I always end up getting to my destination with clothes and suitcase covered in fur!! No matter where I go they’re right there with me in spirit and fur!! My Harley pouts when he sees that suitcase come out of the closet!
Sebastian pouts when I pull out the suitcase also. Turns his back on me and doesn’t acknowledge me until I return from where ever it is I’ve travelled to. And THEN he has to nip my ankle - I guess to let me know I cheesed him off. LOL
I packed a bag today - and put Bob in it! I thought maybe going to work with me would be more entertaining than being home alone. Except for the 10 minutes in the car, he’s having a great time.
He’s been playing with the boss, his toys, had lunch and gone exploring. Now he’s wiped out and sleeping by my feet. I’m hoping to wear him out enough to get him to sleep all night tonight and let me be. The time-change thing’s bad enough without waking up at 2:51 with a purring kitten sitting on your head!
You’re a great newborn kitty owner Great Dane. Bob is very lucky to have you and so much love.
wow-that must be great to be able to bring your cat to work with you !!! I doubt if I’d get any work done……..
Thanks, Huddy’s Mamma! Bob says hallo!
Chris, I’m NOT getting much work done, but Bob’s worth it! Right now he’e trying to get into an empty box.
You give Bob many chin scratches and hugs for me. I’d love to see him trying to get into that box.
Did you hear about Richard Jeni? Very sad.
It really is very sad. My second grade teacher told us (when we studied the circus) that many clowns were very sad, depressed people. (She somehow said it in a way that second graders understood). I have always wondered if that extended to comedians.
It does. Most comedians are very sad people on the inside. A lot of times their only joy comes from making others laugh.
Totally..
I’m not sure if they’re simply more open to discussion depression, but when you think of John Cleese, Stephen Fry (he might be bi-polar, I forget), Hugh Laurie, Rodney Dangerfield, Erma Bombeck, Jim Carrey, and Joan Rivers, you have to wonder if there is a connection.
Those are JUST the ones I can think of off the top of my head who have gone on record.
Maybe comedy is what keeps a lot of people with depression alive and functioning? Or depression’s detachment from positive emotions makes people more likely to see and deliver humor?
Add Phil Hartman to that list.
As someone who’s a little ‘mental’ (and by that I mean bi-polar) I can tell you that people have often tell me I have an excellent sense of humor and have been doing so all my life. So maybe there is a connection.
I have suffered most of my life through varying degrees of depression. I have noticed on my bad days that I reach out by making silly comments and trying to get people to laugh. I didn’t correlate it with other comedians.
I do that too. Everybody in my office says when I’m not making funny/silly comments it just doesn’t seem the same or that it’s too quiet - lol. I do like making people laugh and smile though. And because I’m a lefty - I can imitate anybody’s voice.

Me? I’m not funny — I just look funny! (Cue Woody Woodpecker sound effects!)
Just read your comments about comedians. I have actually done stand up in public & not just at open mike nights. When I was a child I was often told to sit down shut up kids are to be seen not heard. So most of my life I have spent watching & studying people. Me being the type that if I don’t know something I ask a lot of questions to try to understand what I don’t know. Kinda one of those learn all that is learnable things. There are a multitude of reasons people do comedy. Some are simply because they enjoy the attention, others where told as kids they were a natural clown, some do it to prove to themselves that they could get up in front of people which is ranked up there with most peoples greatest fears, the list goes on & on. Never got to talk to enough people to see if there was one reason more than others. I got started kinda by accident simply by talking to people & got talked into being a part of a talent contest because people said I had a natural way of making people laugh & feel good about themselves. But I will tell you that after you get past the initial what the H*** am I doing up here & you hear that laughter it can be one of the most addictive things there is. For some people it’s a natural thing for others definetly not. After dealing with people at their worst which is another story in itself I have learned that any chance you have to make someone laugh or even smile a little it’s always worth it. The scene from the movie Patch Adams where he hangs from a tree & just says hi to the old lady will always be one of my favorite movie scenes. If your opportunity arises where you won’t get in trouble for doing so try it. Not neccesarily hang from a tree but just do something off the wall. It can actually work. Been there done that. Those few seconds or moments you may feel embarrassed by what you’done will disappear when the smile comes. As the saying goes laughter is the best medicine there is. Second best is being loved by kitties or puppies.
Hi Chester!
Glad to see you are back. I agree, about laughter being the best medicine. It’s nice to make someone smile or laugh. I applaud you for being able to get up in front of people and do stand up. When I was younger, to get up in front of people in class, would make me nervous. Now, I don’t think it would bother me as much. I overcame most of my shyness after I turned 18. Hope you are feeling better. Take care.
What little cutie pie brothers. I can’t believe with their innocent little faces they fight so much. They both deserve a wonderful life with lots of belly snuggles.
Moti and Heera are an adorable pair! Lucky island kits!
Hello TDK’rs! Hope everyone is doing well. Monday already..UGH!! Lost an hour this weekend…not happy about it at all!!
Check out those radars!! My Harley was all ears too when he was a baby, he finally grew into them!! These two are absolutely adorable.
Marmalade fuzzbutts…
Unfortunately you’ll have to wait until autumn till you find that elusive missing hour.
My Taffy never did grow into his ears he always looked like he had two satilite dishes attached to the top of his head.
It’s so hard to re-adjust to the time change. The worst is getting up and it’s so darn dark. I do like having more daylight later though, but it sure is tough getting up in the morning! My 3 “alarms” get the job done, everytime!!
My kitties aren’t up with the time change, fortunately. I wasn’t awakened before the alarm for a change!
WHAT? No fair! *yawns* ….*and yawns again*
Great dane
Let Bob teach ya……
you need to practice cat napping
Cutie pies…….I like the one in back
I’ve always wondered what my Bosley looked like as a kitten–now I know! They must be related, because Bosley could sleep through a tornado
I love the way Moti is higging Heera’s tail!
